A Global War - Road to 56 WWII Timelapse

- A big issue with timelapse videos is that they always only focus on a single theatre, leaving all other theatres behind, meaning that the audience doesnt get the full picture of what is happening. Im trying to develop a new format (besides the unit flags and statistics that I alaso introduced) to make the videos even better.
This is a first attempt and as always I will continue to keep improving. Looking forward to your feedback!
This unhistorical WWII timelapse is based on The Road to 56 mod. Hitler attempts to conquer the world along with Italy and Japan in the far east.
The Road to 56 mod can be Downloaded from Steam, its a great addition to the game!
This Second World War timelapse has been simulated by AI in the video game Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox Interactive.
All DLC are installed:

The US divisions were still in Japan, I think the US joined the comintern
They did get a lot of warscore when fighting inmailand China so they were first in the peace deal and just puppeted Japan and Democracies don't want to take land for themselfs
@@eggrollsoup The big red flag I saw was the fact the US and UK divisions not moving at all, pointing to the fact they do not have military access for Commune turn States.

Yeah, he was the first to use this style, then in less then a month everyone is using it
Yeah, there has been a lot of copycats. First the division icons. Then I tried putting in graphs with statistics. That also got copied. Then I removed the graphs because most people on mobile couldn't decode them and instead used simpler numbers. Then the number got copied too. :D
So far the only thing people haven't directly copied are the popup events and now the moving camera. But that's only a matter of time. It's all good that we inspire each other but it would be nice if someone also made their own concepts instead of just duplicating.

You can start a whole mapping channel with this bro making very cool alternate histories.
Even thought the one who defeted axis is allies and comintern, but we all now that greece is the hiden ace, they stand up agains the axis without the help of allies and comintern and still gains ground. If axis do not declare war on greece, may be barbarossa will be bit more sucsesfull...

They really have to fix that bug (or feature) where after a war a nation will stay the same ideology and then they will just get endlessly invaded past that point.
If they aren't puppeted after a war they should still lose their faction and they should have a high chance of another ideology becoming most popular, leading to either a change of government, civil war or coup. Also peace treaties should really have a truce system with them where the same majpr nations cannot continously go to war.

Its either a bug or just poor design but if Germany or Italy stays in the axis after the war then comintern and allies eill endlessly go to war with them because the world tension is still high enough that fascists, democracies and communists will go to war

I kinda hoped the allies would fight the Soviets in this time lapse. I think it would be a great way to end the scenario with a bang, but I don’t know how often the AI go to war so yeah.

It's a mod that expands national focus trees to 1956, so that there's more in-depth stuff for the majors to do after Ww2

As good as this is, its always literally the same thing happening over and over again. Germany declares war on everyone, France and Poland don't last long, Italy is useless and loses Africa, Germany invades Soviet Union, allies land, Germany loses. Its boring

Even though this mod is very good at bringing flavour to minors it is so imbalanced such that ı turned it off after some time. Either germany is too weak (maybe ai cant process focus tree properly.) or germanys neighbours are too powerful. On my runs, 5 or 6 out of ten poland managed hold the line against germany. Then ı tried poland and conquered germany italy and soviets with ease. This shows how broken the polish focuses are or how insanely patriotic the polish mode developer is lol.
