Like the video. I have looked at an st200, I purchased the st3 instead partly due to the colour and the fact it's the same car underneath but a little cheaper. Take it from me the mp215 kit from Mountune is well worth it!
And as a full equipment car the standard ST + mountune kit was more expensive than the ST200. But they are both great cars. These cars are FUNcars. Would not switch to a BMW M4, would only switch to the lightweight class ala caterham and Lotus. And i would not switch from a standard ST to the ST200. But if you habe to decide between both and just need a new car, i would go for the ST200
I purchased one 2 months ago great amount of fun especially upgraded from the black edition. Planning on getting it remapped to 300bhp with pumaspeed now ;)
You need to check your stats. It isn't 32 BHP more as the standard model has 198 BHP in overboost. You can add a Mountune upgrade with Mountune springs for about 900 quid and then you get equal performance without having to buy one that looks like it has been painted in emulsion. Personal choice I suppose.
Heck i probabky got one soon! Import since they didn't want us in the netherlands to have em.. but just the special part is what makes it more fun than just another st
I've got a 2010 Fiesta with the ST body kit but only a 1.6 90 hp diesel engine but I still get a lot of head turns because its preety uncommon here in Croatia :P
I know what you mean, and most are driven buy teenagers or women. I still love mine regardless but after 2 years fun it is going in a couple of months.
As always a great and passionate review from you, i`m not saying its a bad car but 23k for what is already an out dated run out model when you can get a Peugeot sport 208 GTI with a true limited slip diff, no contest..
I bought one of these brand new to replace an ST225 which I still have and I love it.....one thing I noticed was back pain straight away which thankfully I'm not getting anymore....anyone else think the steering wheel is slightly off centre?
It should have the all wheel drive system and an 8inch infotainment plus brembo 4piston calipers up front to justify that money . I think ford is cashing in on the sucess of the st and just waiting what fool will rush to buy this
When the time comes, hope you can review the new Fiesta ST 2017 being released at the Geneva show soon :) I am seriously thinking of putting an order in to buy one, only in Australia, it's release still another one year away (according to the rumours)!!! Thanks
To expensive. Mine ST180 was a lot cheaper to buy, and 900 pounds later with a Peron tune it has 230 HP, all the time. Still better value for money ;-) And the same fun. And, as it always does, the smile on my face
I have a normal 2016 fiesta ST-2 in the nicest blue colour. Cost me just £16,500 Added a K&N Panel Filter and a bluefin remap for £300 New dyno results = 221 bhp 320nm of torque Job done! :) They are having a laugh with the ST200.
Im not sure how to add pictures to comments on UA-cam but found the picture from last year. Was 221.6 BHP and 308Nm of torque to be more exact. 98 fuel @ 15degree celsius. Was very impressed with a stock car and little money put into it. Would love to do exhaust and intercooler upgrades to see if i could hit 240 bhp.
Brought a pre reg st200 2 months old with 16 mls on the clock for less than a st3 so no brainer to me also peeps who talk about the polo gti and pug 208 gti if it's a real warm hatch you'd buy a fiesta St as in the 180 model is still quicker around almost every track in the UK USA and south Africa just git too to laff at the Ford haters out there really.
@@MegamanGaming the 200 will hold its value a lot better, it’s already more expensive to buy than a standard like for like st than the initial new price and that gap will keep going up fo good cars.
I was looking for a little car with some cheap power, mk2 audi tt plus a AMD remap =260bhp, alot cheaper, better made, better interior, more gadgets n plus looks better
OK so it's limited edition but charging 5 grand more than the standard ST is just ridiculous! I know a guy my age who has had one of these for about 6 months now - more money than sense I think
Great acting, needs to be a Ferrari to make you scream not a Fiesta, jesus, how much are Ford paying you. The best hot hatch is either the grippy and sturdy Leon / ibiza cupra or the thrilling Peugeot 208 gti.
*Ya. If you buy a Corolla, it holds value pretty good. My dad bought one used many years ago. He owned it for about 5 years, cleaned it up and was able to sell it for only $500 cheaper than what he got it for.*
AYEM8 This is a limited edition so only time will tell if it will depreciate massively over time it could hold its value rare Ford's do it, look at the mk2 RS. Even higher end cars largely depreciate over time I mean look at the previous version of the Audi s3 and the BMW M3 both have dropped price loads.
*Nah, unless it's JDM like an ITR, NSX, R34, etc. The depreciation will be great. Cars like STi and S2000, only JDM fanboys would still pay a lot for them. American and European cars don't usually have a cult following like that, so their crowd simply just move on and place their value on the newer more current models. Unless you're a wealthy car collector who would pay huge sum for super rare cars in limited production like the Reventón or F40, etc. Then those cars actually appreciate.*
AzNightmare No one knows yet although they're only making a thousand and I mean look at the mk2 RS 500 that was limited edition and has shot up in price I've seen examples of it for over £40,000. Even the normal mk2 RS is holding and increasing in value. I'd say fast fords do have their large following at least here in the UK, from magazines like fast ford, and performance ford to silverstone and santa pod events like ford fair and ford fest. Where you see loads of classic cars that have shot up from original price. Obviously not as big as the JDM scene but still.
It all depends on how well received the new 2018 fiesta ST is. If it's not as good as the old model, people will look to buy the current ST version, making the ST200 more valuable over time
The sound doesn't come from the speakers. It's redirected to the interior. The real, original sound that is.
No, the sound is not fake, and it does not come through the speakers...
Exactly, the intake sound comes from a tube between the engine bay and coupe
Correct.
so this is a natural sound or? people say summit about a sound symposer?
sam westerman has a pipe from air box to back of dash
Best part about Mountune is, in 2017 they're releasing an even more powerful stage for the FiST, around 280 HP.
have a st2 2014 version and never fails to put that all important smile on my face. drove to Sheffield and back over snakes pass 😆😆😆
Like the video. I have looked at an st200, I purchased the st3 instead partly due to the colour and the fact it's the same car underneath but a little cheaper. Take it from me the mp215 kit from Mountune is well worth it!
such a shame, the new model isn't half as good looking...
Bought one 3months ago and I love it....better looking than the new ones
just traded my 2015 se for the 2017 ST and I love it
Mountune MP215 is same power as 200 - still 212 BHP on overboost.

Nice review! Seems like a fun little machine.
Really fun to drive John! Thanks for watching.
Going to pick mine up in a week, I cant wait!
Didnt even mention rear parking camera, exclusive stitched seats, exclusive alloys.....fucks sake.
Heck i probabky got one soon! Import since they didn't want us in the netherlands to have em.. but just the special part is what makes it more fun than just another st
Problem with the fiesta is that it's so common. Doesn't help either that the exhaust is pretty dull.
*Maybe in the UK? In Canada... Fiesta's are pretty rare, and the Fiesta ST is a magical unicorn that no body knows what it is.*
Applies to my great state of Maryland too. I get a lot of thumbs up from other carheads.
I've got a 2010 Fiesta with the ST body kit but only a 1.6 90 hp diesel engine but I still get a lot of head turns because its preety uncommon here in Croatia :P

music sounds a little like the end credits from the original blade runner movie.
Shame about the dated and a little bit rubbish switchgear.
Awesome review and awesome car and awesome boots.
Thanks Taff!

Thanks Peter! We see your point on price, a few people think the same, but with only around 1000 made we're sure they'll sell.
208 GTI?🤣 gtfoh
is it the same out dated infotainment too? when you pay 24,000? :O
I agree, it's a bit 2014 inside. So if you're going for a high tech car - this car is only for the engine and fun.
Wonderful! I'm going to buy this for sure!
Did you??

Why wasn’t the Fiesta ST200 offered as a five door variant?
When the time comes, hope you can review the new Fiesta ST 2017 being released at the Geneva show soon :) I am seriously thinking of putting an order in to buy one, only in Australia, it's release still another one year away (according to the rumours)!!! Thanks

I call bullshit
Sevi Severgnini I have the dyno print out if you'd like?
BP ultimate 98ron fuel was used i may add.
Well if it does I'm very impressed, saved yourself a lot

Such a lovely car....then the 2018 one is a giant leap backwards. Sad
The instrument 2018 is more great looking. Maybe they could added some thing here for 40 year limited 😀 but 24242miles 14000 £😀now
Remeber not to overexpose so we can see the car in your panning shots
Is the ST200 worth the extra cash? How do you compare it to other small hot hatches?
No, you can buy a bone stock ST and modify it to be significantly faster / more power for less than the price of admission to the ST200
@@MegamanGaming the 200 will hold its value a lot better, it’s already more expensive to buy than a standard like for like st than the initial new price and that gap will keep going up fo good cars.
i buy it in some Days ... 19800 € Full.
I also bought one. 150000€. 😀
I was looking for a little car with some cheap power, mk2 audi tt plus a AMD remap =260bhp, alot cheaper, better made, better interior, more gadgets n plus looks better
Lee Daughtrey If you are gonna be like that then just fuck off. The Audi is a different class of car

SDADSDSFDSGDA No, he wants a decent car. What’s the problem with that.
1:30 Help my Ears!
😂😂
Are you going to review the Ka+?
Hi, we filmed this yesterday so subscribe and check back next week :)
Car Keys UK already a subscriber!
We get the same figures in the US Fiesta so.. You're welcome :P

V
22242miles 14000£ :)
NO LSD ...... oh dear
Great acting, needs to be a Ferrari to make you scream not a Fiesta, jesus, how much are Ford paying you. The best hot hatch is either the grippy and sturdy Leon / ibiza cupra or the thrilling Peugeot 208 gti.
It was just a joke Dan, Rich has drove faster more powerful cars than this. And we wished Ford paid us!
Sound isn't put through the stereo and it has more than just extra power clueless review
Not worth 20k
that cringy scream tho
the gearbox in these are shite...really prone to missing third gear when shifting up from second hard
You're the only person I've ever seen mention this, and never had this problem myself.
Boring
It's a ford ffs it will depreciate like a bastard
