Maybe this is cynical but I think comments like this are astroturfed or written by robots. The phrase 'gets me every time' and emojis appear in like every single fucking comment section of these office videos without a single exception, and they're very generic or just based on one thing in the video. Maybe it's real, if so I'm sorry this is a rude comment, and I'm glad you enjoy the office lol. I just suspect bots populate these comment sections.
@@nuncapasaran9374sometimes i feel say way, seems odd but logically i could see a few reasons why, one potentially more views, since some people like reading comments and or to count bot views they may need more human activity to count for ads ect. Two a eco chamber to make people feel better and comments generated based on stats. Three pushing ideals since humans are copy cats, seeing validation to behavior may make it seem more or less acceptable , especially for more sheltered or foreign people. Much like scifi movies and allot of monsters looking odly feminine, facehuggers ,brainbug, ect makes one wonder if theyre trying to devalue certain stuff to make it easyer to achieve or create avoidance? May explain some of the trends in the modern age. Nate seems like ur avg nice somewhat anxiety type. And so they make him out to be like this, similar to how they portray buffalo bill in silence of the lambs or scp 096. Like cattle they remove certain elements they dont find productive. Shy and anxiety? Well ur gonna be called gay, and avoided, and replaced
Nate is so underrated, his acting is so smooth and natural, that you can clearly have a picture of him just listening the way he talks.

Nate is easily the most underrated character in the show.
He’s one of the best things about the latter seasons. Nate is such an underrated character. Mark Proksch who plays him is equally brilliant in What We Do In The Shadows. He plays the awkward bumbling jester with a good heart so so well.
Agreed. Can’t remember the name but he played the nerdy baseball card collector in Better Call Saul. Guy is so good at those roles

4:08 Val touching Nate's hand is such a beautiful moment. It is these little moments that make the Office awesome. Here, as the leader, with that simple gesture, Val comes across as caring & understanding of Nate's idiocy.
Val seems like she's not acting. It's so uncomfortable to watch her because it feels like she's some random normal person without character flaws and everyone else around her is so goofy.

When Pam's mural gets vandalised, Val is not helping at all and she contributes to the werehouse "Omerta".
It was her responsibility to make that man behave or let him go, because having such a toxic person in your team creates problems.
No character is perfect.
I know it's just technically a blooper and that it didn't make the final cut of the episode, but the best Nate scene for me, personally, is the one where he says, "Frank did it" and Pam says, "Frank did it?" and he says, "I don't know his last name, but sure, Frank Diddit did it." Again, I know it's just a blooper.

The best part about many of Nates scenes is how it’ll be halfway thru a scene and then the camera will pan over to reveal he was there the whole time. Really good comedic timing, not to mention his one-off comments are hilarious

Nate's character was one of the few bright spots of the latter seasons of the Office. And Mark Proksch's Colin Robinson character just shines in What We Do in the Shadows. A wonderful comedic actor.
I still love the idea that they saw this man who thought the best way to deal with a hive was to use a bat, and they said "Give that man a job where he's next to a baler."

I'm still wondering what the correct procedure was for the Hornet's nest
Blowtorch the arrow to hit it with some Fuego from distance, THEN blow torch the bat to create a flaming beat stick to unleash hellish fury on any remaining hornets who dare to challenge your authority.
Light the arrow on fire, use the bow to shoot at the nest at a distance, let it burn down from a distance. You could also release the butane canister and light it up and explode the butane canister near the nest.

probably to shoot the nest to the ground from far away, use the bat to roll it away from the tree, and then set it on fire.
@@Lazyhandle Arrows put fire out. Fire arrows are great in movies but they go out whilst moving. They were not that common in ancient warfare like pop culture thinks.

Nate is the perfect representation of what it's like to have APD (auditory processing disorder). I would know, I have APD. A lot of his quirks are actually symptoms of APD. I love the representation!
