Buyers can't get enough of them? Overpriced, oversized electric vehicles..... I don't think people will be rushing to buy them..

@@boethiusm8438 overpriced based on their value to the end user and what they can offer... Sales figures which are low and falling suggests I am correct and the majority of people also think likewise...

Great video. I find the EQE SUV very tempting as a luxury car, it’s so well thought out if you don’t go for the Hyperscreen. What’s especially good is the floors are not too high like they are in many EVs.
Should be some great deals to be had considering the number of used models languishing on dealer forecourt’s and 0% finance on new ones they can’t shift
Totally agree that efficiency should be the focus but you're unlikely to achieve it with bluff, heavy SUVs

Top review but both are way beyond most budgets. I would rather have an EQE estate but there doesn't appear to be one.
Who would have thought a big heavy SUV is not very fuel efficient?
Cant tell the difference until u tell me which is which. Their gas versions are bigger and more desirable while costing less.
I’m generally not against electric - but how can anybody defend the production of a car weighing 3.1 tonnes as being a genuine alternative for a sustainable future. It’s nuts! I half expected the shear weight to cause potholes to form in the driving shots…

Didn’t the EQS come out today as one of the fastest depreciating cars. Loses nearly 50% in the first year!
Always lease them. My wife got an eqe yesterday and it drives like a dream. Literally feels like it is floating on air. We test drove the eqs too but driving wise there was no difference. Most of the difference were in the rear seats

EQS is not really the s class of electric SUVs, not as luxurious looking nor as commodious; the GLS has much more space and looks more luxurious. God help you when you have to replace that screen.
As much as I normally love your EV reviews, Vicky, I can't help but think 'someone' (*cough* Mercedes) must've paid you a substantial 'bonus' in order for you to bother reviewing these 2 totally, in your words, unnecessary cars...!
Even as much of an EVangelist as I am, the anti-EV trolls out there must be rubbing their 'keyboards' in glee ready to punish your channel for reviewing near-3 tonne, north-of-£100k electric SUVs.... and, in all honesty, I wouldn't blame them if they did.
Such weight and such excess goes against everything most regular EV owners would hold dear - namely efficiency and cost-effective personal transport.
I just wish you'd stuck to your no-nonsense, credible reviewing style and basically told viewers to "boycott these show-off monstrosities"...

That's a disgusting price for both, and the weight of that EQS! No wonder the roads are getting worse, the weight of these things! Not that impressed by them, having sat in them

Good review. Have absolutely no interest whatsoever in such a car. 3+ tonnes!. A disgrace really. Better efficiency cannot come soon enough to Mercedes. Lovely cabin though. Still overpriced and will be sure to go wrong and be expensive to put right after about 3 years!
Why did you show a picture of a BMW x2 when talking about a BMW iX? You must know people who watch your channel are car enthusiasts, why treat them as idiots with your poor editing and attention to detail?

Hideous blobs, no design fair whatsoever. Those dashboards as well, so they put cheap as chips screens all across the dashboard and market this as the premium option - do people really fall for this rubbish? It looks so cheap and nasty. Give it a couple of years and they will be completely outdated and make the car only fit to be scrapped
