Think Beyond the Edge

Our Think Beyond the Edge pop-up exhibition was created for the Winter Enrichment Program 2023 at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology).
The exhibition challenges visitors to think about boundaries of their own imagination and action. Using example of renowned artists who break free from the bounds of the known, visitors are inspired about what might lie beyond their own “edge”. A black and white maze-like, immersive experience prompts visitors to ask themselves questions about what is holding them back, shortly after which they are confronted by an explosion of colour at the centre of the exhibition. Here, they are invited to the possibility that lies “beyond” their expectation by experiencing abstract VR worlds, creating art using AI and by collaborating on a mural.
This was an incredibly fun and insightful project to work on!
