Keep the Hugo Boss dress. Wear different belts with it. For a few dollars you can have it tailored to fit and it would be worth it. Tailoring is mandatory for my wardrobe if it’s things I love and want to keep and wear forever as they are timeless. That dress is timeless.
You could also wear the marvelous green floral mini dress over a pair of bell-bottoms. When I was in 10th grade in high school (1972), we were finally allowed to wear pants to school, but we had to wear the longer "tunic" tops to cover our behinds. LOL. We wore button-up shirts with cropped sweater vests over top and bell bottoms (finally allowed to show our behinds!) by 1973. And, of course, platform shoes. We didn't wear a lot of linen back then because linen wrinkles so easily and nobody wanted extra ironing and wrinkled clothing was a no-no! Oh my gosh, the Hugo Boss dress with hat and boots is RIGHT-ON and perfectly groovy. KEEP IT by all means! It's the BEST. That one and the first green one are my absolute FAVES!!
I grew up in the 1970’s and polyester was popular in terms of fabrics. I preferred natural fabrics and was influenced by hippie or currently “bohemian “ fashion. Clothes fit close to the body and were in bright colours. Neutrals were around but colourful patterns were popular. Today I see fashion that is reminiscent of those times. Thank you for sharing your interpretation of the 70’s!
Please keep the Hugo Boss dress! When you came on screen in it, I actually gasped! With the belt, the boots, the hat...you look fab! Could definitely play around with other belts as well if you want to change the look up, but would have never guessed the dress was too big on you when worn with the belt ❤
The low belts and waistlines were called hip huggers. You would really be straight from the 70's if you found bell bottoms, fringe suede handbags, and platform shoes. Coooooool!
Rebecca, again you met your goal with the 70's look in mind!! You are such Linen magnet. That is my favorite thing to watch for on every video, to see how much Linen you score & you never disappoint!! Great haul & thanks for sharing!! PS Linen never goes out of style, either!!
Keep the black dress, it’s sunning o you, wear it with out, you also snitch it with pins or these cool decorating button to use with about anything. Just a suggestion, or you could a professional do, has not to ruin a Higo Boss dress. I’d go the the professional myself, pricy, but, you get what you pay for, right?

Ooh it would look great with bell bottoms! That’s a good idea, thanks for watching ❤️❤️
The red flower dress is perfect! The mini dress is too short; add a pair of bike shorts or a half black slip under it/ maybe a lacy one!👍
Gosh it is short lol, yes I was considering layering a dress under it
Keep the Hugo dress, it’s so great. The black belt works, but so would a white, red or even bright yellow.
Thanks! Great idea with different coloured belts
