Ziigaat really cooked in 2024. All sets they released trade blows or arguably even beat the competition. When you see how Simgot came out before and now Ziigaat, you can only be excited for which company gonna break the market next
Yes, what I’ve been noticing from UA-camrs. Ziigaat has a lot to live up to 2025. It’s almost too good to be true I’ve having sticker price Bias. My original plan was to go supermix 4, theaudio origin, io volare but now I’m questioning if I should swap out origin for HBB punch and volare for odyssey. I have never bought I high volume set and I normally listen to my music mid-volume is why I picked dos cinco over odyssey and Arcadia. I’m afraid of bursting my ears😂 I’m loving my supermix 4 and oddly enough, after having it to compare to Doscinco, I feel the Dos is too dark and is also lacking bass. Supermix 4 with an impedance adapter sounds a lot better than DosCinco IMO
What do you think about making the last elements not compete with each other, and you have to choose one because the competition may have the best bass and neutral elements, so it is difficult to choose? Instead of that, there should be separate categories for bass, middle, fun, and something like that, and the classification will be between the most prominent elements, and it will be 3 elements, 2 seconds. To choose one of them
I recently picked up the KE4 and while I enjoy the sound, the fit is kinda painful moreso than other sets for my ear, so I was looking for something similar and noticed the SLIIVO sl-41 mk2 graphs similar. And I just realized that the iem world is just like the car audio basshead world, just smaller lmao, like some iems have an isobaric configuration? So cool! Isobaric configurations were so popular in the 90's and 2000's in car audio
I have the Hype 4 and I’m glad it got as far as it did. However, I just recently got the S12 2024 to replace my S12 Pro (which I gave to my son) and I’m just enjoying the heck out of them. As a side note, over the years, I’ve learned never to say that any IEM is an endgame product but these S12 2024 are perhaps 95% there. Even with that, the Hype 4 are still really good and I still listen to them when the mood strikes.

The P8 has a good balanced with sub bass and and snappy, punchy and fast mid bass. Mid range has micro details like the Odyssey with a clear and coloured sound. Not terribly bad, just noticeably different. I only heard the difference after comparing the same music tracks and switching from one to the other, back to back. It is a disadvantage for the P8. The Odyssey sounds great with Rock and Jazz. I listened to some Chicago with the track Lowdown. It has great energy to the music with stand out vocal performance. I was playing the music louder than usual and rocking along to the music. The P8 sounds great with Rock and technical Jazz. A good fine detailed treble with full bodied bass guitar. Richard Freeman and the European Jazz Trio are the artists that come to mind. I'm considering selling my Elysian Pilgrim after comparing to the Odyssey. It's a bit boring sounding overall. And costs approaching double the Odyssey. Although it does soften harsher, dynamically compressed recordings (dynamic range compression). Pop music is the main offending of this. **Comparing the Odyssey with the P8 makes it clear now that the Odyssey is the clear winner with improved bass quality, separation between instruments, nicer tonality and treble performance. ** And the Odyssey is a bargain sleeper, cheaper and all round excellent. A strong jack of all trades, but it's a master at being that. I hope this can help you decide. Both of these have different strengths. And the Odyssey being cheaper than the P8 is certainly a winning advantage. **Short answer: Odyssey all the way That's why the Odyssey is my IEM of the year, like Jay.
