There are so many reasons to leave Michigan, facing almost certain suspension from the NCAA being just one of them. Another person not paying attention or knows anything about the situation. Basically has full control over football at Michigan already but college football has totally changed and about to change even more drastically.

@@justinmj6586 You have no idea of the situation either. NCAA president literally came out and said Michigan won fair and square. It's essentially going to be some Level 3 violations and some fines. If it was "almost certain suspension", he would have signed with an NFL team 2 weeks ago.

I don't really understand why Herbert has this reputation. He's 25 and just finished his 4th season lol. I get what happened vs Jax, but it's not like he's 35 and this has gone on his entire career. Nm of a sample size. He hasn't even hit his peak yet. Then you throw in the fact he had an unqualified HC too in that window. He thrived and had the best game of his season at Oregon in champ game, so you know moment isn't too big for him. Idk..I think Rodgers and Dak deserve that label more than Herbert.

I don’t doubt Giannis is a big reason for Adrian Griffin getting fired but just about everybody on the team has taken shots at Griffin and the front office had been monitoring practices for weeks. People who have watched MKE all year knew they’re not as good as their record and needed a change

So you’re paying your qb top money and he’s the 6th best guy in your conference. Team has a bad losing culture. Ownership is historically cheap. 0 fan support. You’ll play 17 hostile environments a year. Chargers have the second worst cap situation. The secondary is not good, the pass rush under performs, the offensive line is mid, running game is mid, receivers are often hurt.

Harbaugh has acted very selfishly for a guy supposedly so concerned with the Team. If he had to leave for fear of NCAA sanctions, then he should've resigned weeks ago. If he then couldn't reach an NFL deal, so what, he's already a millionaire and can afford some time off. The Team thing to do would be come back and face the music. Asking for immunity was wimpy. The University and The Team, the Team, the Team are still gonna bear the weight of his punishment, even if he's gone. For all the dorks saying "what else does he have to prove in college", why didn't Saban leave after his first championship? Stringing Michigan along until he gets a sweetheart deal looks like selfish prima-donna-ism.

Why would Harbaugh want to coach in a division where he will have to face two likely future HOF HC's (Reid and Payton) twice or more each season? Three future HOF HC's is a crowd in one 4-team division! He's risking his legacy if he takes on the Chargers job. Aaron Rodgers avoided the AFC West so he won't have to risk his legacy in a division with Mahomes and Herbert despite DEN trying hard to land him last offseason by hiring his favorite OC (Nathanial Hackett). Looks like he made the right choice given what happened to DEN's Plan B, Russell Wilson.

The Spanos family is cheap. And that is a disease. They don’t care about winning as much as they care about having control, and why wouldn’t they? They are billionaires, they’ve controlled everything in their entire lives, so what less would they expect with their football team? If they actually strike a deal with Jim Harbaugh, it shows that they are smart enough to realize that giving up a little bit of power, and spending more money on a coach would mean more profits for them, turning their organization into a consistently winning one in all likelihood.

Doc Rivers is the basketball equivalent of mike McCarthy. 1 championship 15 years ago and then absolutely nothing ever since. Both coaches are extremely overrated and ineffective.
Doc is the only coach to win a title in Boston in the last 37 years.
