100%. Ronaldo Nazario had everything, size, strength, balance, touch, dribbling, vision and pure talent. Messi has quickness, vision and touch but not the other ingredients.
While it's true that R9 had things that Messi didn't, you have to admit that Messi has ingredients that R9 doesn't have, such as: a better pass, a better free kick, more positional flexibility and better one touch play.
You're saying messi doesn't have dribbling, balance, and pure talent? Look again. Messi has had the most dribbles across the fifteen year-span, Messi is nearly the most talented player I've watched. And he rarely falls, that's balance. I don't know about Ronaldo de lima because I didn't watch him play. Saying what you're saying is disrespect to Messi.
Prime R9 was amazing and blessed to have seen him play and lived those moments. He could just destroy a team in style and grace. Pace, strength, height, skills, ball control, step overs, shoulder drop, movement, football IQ, samba joga bonito. Damn. He was the Perfect Striker. He was unstoppable. He was the Kaido of his Era, on a 1v1 always bet on Ronaldo. Deadliest 1v1 player in history. He literally disappeared in front of defenders. Defenders knew what was coming but they couldn't keep up. When Ronaldo got pass players, they were more in awe than embarrassed. Yes that was so true. He was one of them like main characters in anime. Still to this day, I don't see a defense who can stop or shut him down, I mean defense back then was more superior compared to nowadays

Than you did NOT check history. Before R9 had 2 major injuries and a disease he did things from a very young age that Messi could not do and beside his performances where his stats much better. And a destroyed R9 at 60% was still better in the world cup as Messi on 100%. R9 had moves and some passing that Messi didn't do. For example he did it with his shoulder. One customer told him you are not a serious businessman to turn down $200k because of football. My uncle replied, you are not a serious human being not to know Ronaldo was playing. Although, they were joking but we laughed so hard!.Never forget that day, 2002 world cup.
100%. Ronaldo Nazario had everything, size, strength, balance, touch, dribbling, vision and pure talent. Messi has quickness, vision and touch but not the other ingredients.
While it's true that R9 had things that Messi didn't, you have to admit that Messi has ingredients that R9 doesn't have, such as: a better pass, a better free kick, more positional flexibility and better one touch play.
good observation
Messi did have more discipline and more actual love for the game tho.....
Messi has an incredible balance too
You're saying messi doesn't have dribbling, balance, and pure talent? Look again. Messi has had the most dribbles across the fifteen year-span, Messi is nearly the most talented player I've watched. And he rarely falls, that's balance. I don't know about Ronaldo de lima because I didn't watch him play. Saying what you're saying is disrespect to Messi.
Genius depiction of a 💯 player/ artist of this great game in our time....
what a blessing watching him in his prime
Seedorf was brilliant
legendary
Seedorf Amazing player! He know what about speak!! Ronaldo change the game!!! Real Phenomen!!!
game changer
R9 🔥🔥🔥
elite player
"The full package " ...I agree
what a player
If he played in this modern era, he would have scored thousands of goals in one season ❤. He was something else I agree.
speed, strength and vision. He had it all
This dude was a sick player hands down
skills, pace, strength and vision
The Original Ronaldo ♥️🔥🙏🔥🔥🔥♥️
top tier
I would have loved to see Seedorf and Ronaldo play together in the Premier League during their prime
make that happen in FIFA 👀
They played champions together for Real Madrid the best team of the world.
@@lordmountbatten154nope, Seedorf left like two years before Ronaldo’s arrive.
They played together @ ac Milan
@@trollingone1 and inter
Still to this day, I don't see a defense who can stop or shut him down, I mean defense back then was more superior compared to nowadays
solid description of him
He never reached his prime as a footballer though. A footballer's prime is when he's in his late 20s right? R9 got his first major injury at the age of 23.
I once herd a a football commentator decribe Ronoldo as a sprinter with footballer skill
his dribbling speed is insane
I also heard they said he is a combination of Ferrari and Steamroll😅
Ronaldinho 10 Magic 💫💯🌅❤️
unreal player
Yeah, Ronaldo Delima was so exceptional! My most respected player so far.
what a talent
Ronaldo gave nightmares to defenders, omce Rio Ferdinand said. They were scared to face him.
facts
Always listen when Seedorf talks football ⚽️
yessir
if 1 of the best players to ever live says he's the best, we just have to agree.
can't go wrong with it
I agree 💯
the goat
Don't let those Messi and CR7 fans hear this. They will roast you😂😂
@@enelstech for real - they haven't watched R9. Thing is Messi & CR7 have the longevity at performing at the highest level
@@enelstechbut it's fact the ,even Peter Drury the best commentator ever said "for the past 15yrs MESSI has been MARADONA, even MARADONA is not always MARADONA .
@@ballersite Their longevity is due to the weak defenders in their time. No one defender during their time is up to the level of Lizarazu. I don't want to talk about the elite guys like Thuram, Dessaily, Jaap stam and more. The list is almost endless. Weak holding midfielders. No atom of defence qualities. Look at Messi, it took Messi 10 attempts to score against Petre Cech. He couldn't break CFC defence until great defenders like JT, Calvalho, Makelele, Gallas and more left the club. I always say that, had Messi and CR7 existed during R9's era, they would have been normal players. They would have won the world best only once because that was an era of great champions.
Clarence was right there with him
unreal
Couldn't agree more myself!👍
love ittt
My greatest football player idol
top player
And this is coming from Seedorf, a great of the game, who knows football like very few.
absolute fact
In the same words, Morinho says about Ronaldo de Nazario de lima, the phenomenon .
yes a lot been saying how amazing talent R9 was.
Yes , Great Answer. R9 RONALDO BRAZILION Great player.🎉🎉🎉
Top talent
Really he’s a full package of a footballer. ‘The phenomenon’
for real
Full Package. Most complete footballer ever ! Nearest one to him would be Zidane. Ronaldinho also but only for a short period.
Ronaldo was also playing for a short period due to injury, but watching him in his prime is so beautiful
Zidane was better
@@festusaniemeka3350 👍
His cousin is called Clark Kent. Both came from Krypton. But the super powers of Phenomenon he uses on a grass pitch. Only and unmatched! I say that because what he did is beyond a common human can do.
love to see this comment
There is only one Ronaldo and this is The One....
R9 💨
oh yessssss..
those legs movements are a work of art
for real, nightmare for the defenders who are marking him
He speaks so eloquently about Ronaldo
loud and clear
In the last part of the clip, was the guy in the light blue jersey running after Ronaldo to celebrate with him 😂
he got too excited about the goal 🤣
Can you imagine this Ronaldo and Messi up front in a 4-4-2?
Sick
nightmare for any defenders in the whole planet
It was like that when he played along side Romario and Romario wasn’t pissing off the coach some how.
There was a match previous fifa world cup 98.
R9 & Batistuta. These 2 monsters crushed the European team, with Zidane included and Bekenbauer directing them.
No, but I remember him and Ronaldinho 🙂
@@tonyb9735 that was an amazing team.
Seedorf was a king in the midfield! And Ronaldo is unique! A true phenomenom
deadly combo
The real Ronaldo as tiery Henry says..
Henry said that for a reason
@ballersite I've seen countless interviews, with real football legends.. they all say the same thing.. the best most naturally gifted footballer to ever do it.. they all say it without any hesitation.. managers and players..
The last technique before he score....🔥🙌🏾
i've never seen something like that before 🤯🙆🏽♂️
immaculate
Pls don’t swear. The bible says we should not (Matthew 5 vs 34)
@@tobaakins497 learn english mate, immaculate isn't a swear word
I've seen couple of times
The real and best Ronaldo.
toppp
Exactly the best striker we have ever seen R9🇧🇷🔥
complete package
He was the best at what he did, dribbling & finishing but Messi is close, however when it comes to vision, creativity, passing etc, R9 is no where near, add to that Messi has done it for 20 years!
Messi did have a better career but Messi is not even in the top 5 young players/talents.
@@giovannigio3764 how do injuries prevent your vision and passing? if anything it makes you drop into a deeper more playmaker type of role? Link me a clip of his passing, playmaking and please bare in mind he's one of the best of all time, even an average player can pass sideways or a few imaginative passes in their career.
well observed

@@the-gang-of-wolvesI don’t agree with etc…vision n creativity yes.. Messi is a little better..I’d add in longevity. Not in strength, speed, heading, height, tricks. They r both close in technically n first touch tho..
Besides Brazilian Ronaldo, there is another man who was the ultimate playmaker of the game and thats Zinedine Zidane 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻
the elegance is a different gravy
@@ballersite No player on Earth could still rival Zinedine's genius. He is the Ultimate Player of the Game. One can see that in his passes, aerial combat capability and that's why he was bought in by Real Madrid at a hefty price. Messi and CR7, these guys are sidelines. Nothing more than that
