I think one of the coolest things about this game was how death works - survival against the final boss to keep playing! I suppsoe makes sense since they were all made to be arcade-y back then.
This was my first fighting game and introduced me to the world of Bruce Lee back in the day .. I love this game and I still play it today .. I remember it being so hard that I only played 2 player and beat up the red Bruce Lee with no one playing it lol By myself in story, I would only get up to stage 2 .... but nowadays... I can easily beat the game ... and I never get tired of it 😂
when I was little I often got anxiety from the samurai and the intro video that is shown at the beginning + the last level (the soundtrack) it often went over and over in my memory. I was traumatized. i don't know why .... my brother played it all the time but never finished the game
2 player is not worth it in this game during Story Mode, as one player had to be fought and sacrificed every level, plus you can't team up when facing the Demon. Now, the Vs. mode is fun. There is supposed to be a 3 player mode in this, though, but an adapter is required in original hardware.
I remember my brother and I would play 3 player mode, and the 3rd player would be the computer. We would try to team up on him, but he used to kick our asses easily lol
Guy with the red pants trying to get some hits in on the guy in the black pants before they finish their enemy because he knows he's going to get his ass whooped head to head... just what my brother would do.
That actor went on to make the best Disney version of " The Jungle Book" where he becomes a successful adult. Every other version killed off the character by leaving him stranded in a burned out jungle.

played this back in the 90s. from what i remember it was an incredibly hard game. i couldn't pass the 60 second fight.
