Gosh I remember typing this game into my TI back in the day and really enjoying it. There was a certain charm to these games at a time when personal computers were still exciting and interesting, each with its own quirks and features, something that has sadly been lost now...

The routine you put in for randomization is a nice workaround.
I’m not familiar with all the nuances of randomization. (I suppose I should have asked.) All I know is that when I ran the program without my routine, all of the rooms were the same each time I booted into it. Maybe this would be a good topic for our next CALL -151 meeting.
