I remember back when I first wanted to start opening packs on my channel. It was awesome to see so many great deals on eBay for loose packs, especially older fan favorite ones at decent prices. Suffice it to say, I was VERY disappointed.
*Moral of the story? If it's too good to be true, it probably is.*

I got 24 loose lob and mrd packs and ended up with double lob secret rare but no ultras. Ratios were normal.. and the mrd gave me 3 secret rares and 1 super.. I prefer the ultra rares but I was happy to get some cool cards

I never buy loose packs. EVER, but this doesn't looked searched imo.
SimplyUnlucky i got scam when i was a kid but it was pokemon cards the teen said that he had a dad that work where they make the card so yeah they stole my cards to make it simple.
I know that guy from eBay since he’s selling several packs in that packaging. There are only a few sellers I trust which sell like the Legendary Collection unsearched packs (first 6 YGO booster packs), since they make a little profit from selling loose packs compared to the whole box. I never trust any seller who doesn’t explicitly say the packs are unsearched and when they happen to have even one feedback mentioning bad pulls, I’m out. Unfortunately we’re mostly stuck to purchase expensive sealed displays to even get a fair chance of decent pulls...

When he bought it, 4 foils out of the 5 we're flipped upside down inside the packaging. That's a bit suspicious plus it wasn't a box like they said, so there's a good possibility it was searched.

I bought lots of loose packs online and luckily didn't get scammed too bad yet. The only thing was a lot of 24 reprint IOC packs that was scaled. I usually check the packs but it was a seller I bought from in the past, so I kinda trusted him.

Literally just got scammed 3 weeks ago for 2 "sealed" boxes of flod. They were re sealed with some bad shrink wrap. The packs were razor blade cut along the back and every rare and holographic card was taken out. Thank god I ordered it on Amazon and got my money back.

Yea I didn't look at the reviews for the seller till afterward. Now before I even consider buying anything I look at reviews and feedback.

I've had the opposite experience when shopping online. recently found a ton of GX and 5Ds packs for cheap. Bought some loose GLAS 1st ed packs... It went very well.will be posting soon take a look at some of my other videos until then!
Reminds me of this one time I opened a magic the gathering booster box of m11. It was from a local store and a Christmas present. The shop owner had two different stories. He told my mom that he didn't have any m11 boxes in stock, but that he could "make one" out of loose packs. A day or too later, he told me that a customer just came in, and changed his mind at the last minute. He bought a box of eldrazi or scars of mirrodin instead, and only the plastic was removed on the m11 box. Me being naive and also wanting to support a small local business, I took his word for it.
The mythic rare and foil ratio was completely off, pulled 2 of the same common foil, and like 3-4 of the same bulk rare. I only pulled about $20 worth of cards. Years later I found out from some friends that the same shop owner would rip open boxes, and as soon as they cracked 5 mythics or a chase card he would then put the remaining packs for sale out front, and move on to the next box. Never bought any sealed product from that scumbag after that.
That turned out to be a decent set.
yeah I always bought sealed boxes on Ebay, I never trusted people who did Grab Bags or other things that looked dodgy.
Well funny story is I bought packs like that which were meant to be boxed. Cant remember what packs they were, but I did pull 3 ultimate rares from them... lol they either weighed them wrong and gave me damn good packs, or it was the actual packs but without the box..
The fact that you got the all holos all together makes these packs searched. And I agree, just like said, they probably forgot to mix the packs.

The rares for each pack were at the start of whichever group of cards you were at. So a rare Monster is at the very front but a rare Spell or Trap is more further back in the pack. Not sure why they did it that way for this set.

Well... I’ve been buying cards from a seller from eBay that has a 100% feed back since ‘99 never had a problem with buying cards online from him... but I get your point being cautious..and buying from random sellers can be risky.
If you think this is bad I have a video where I was opening a duelist alliance box and the packs were scaled, opened and resealed. The box was resealed too. All low value holos and they were scratched up.
Did you contact the seller and confront them.Or put them out so buyers can know what they are getting into.
I haven’t watched all the way through, but because of your big following you should definitely post a screenshot of the seller.

When I was younger my mother bought me a 350 bulk lot from ebay for my birthday, but it turned out to be only 35 cards, just 10 of each, and they were all commons from the Shadow of Infinity set, every common in the set. No rares or nothing, but they are all genuine and first editions, so not a total loss I guess. Kind of a bummer, but it was a good lesson in how we should buy yugioh cards.
yep, happened to me too. Bought few boxes of DB2 blisters a few years back, got around half of the foils on average. Kinda sucked but I didn't really care - I had the full set of DB2 in a binder already, really just opening to relive nostalgia.
Guess moral of the story is to not buy packs on Ebay

You call this a scam? I once bought Weiss Schwarz cards from amazon, it was a deal that contains random cards (I think 100 of them) + a deck box + a random booster pack + and sleeves.
It came without the box and sleeves, all of the cards were from Project Diva (except for a few Nisekoi cards) and the random cards had many duplicates.
When I contacted the seller about it, they apologized and offered to give me "a special gift" the next time I order the same deal from them, and told me that I can request any series I want (Kill la Kill, Fairy Tail, Fate/Stay Night, Persona 4, SAO, Suzumiya Haruhi, and a few other choices), I agreed out of curiosity, and as for the choices I said the more diversity the better.
What I got was the same Project Diva and Nisekoi crap with only a few Kill la Kill and Fairy Tail cards, and the "special gift" was an opened Persona 4 pack (yeah it was opened, I'm not even kidding) they came with the box this time but not the sleeves, and they arrived in 3 whole weeks.
My local walmart has a bunch of product yesterday they even had 4 legendary collection kaiba editions. Plus a few collector boxes thats where i go even a ton of the newer kaiba tins

Late to the show, but i wonder if the damage to the mirror force had anything to do with them missing it. I know when it comes to foil or non-foil they are dealing with extremely small differences in weight and maybe that damage has some missing material that decreased its weight

Mysterious Guard was the very first card I had when I started playing Yugi-Oh although I didn't know anything about the cards so when I was with my brother and his friends I bought pack of cards and Mysterious Guard was on top in Japanese along with the other cards...I lost them along time ago though.

I‘ve made good and bad experiences in buying loose packs. My worst experience was buying 1x LOB 1.Edition Booster, 1xMRD 1.Edition Booster, 1x LON 1.Edition Booster and also 2x MFC Booster and 2x IOC Booster. Pulled no foil... but maybe I were just unlucky. The best experience was when I bought one GLAS Booster 1.Edition, one IOC Booster out of an Legendary Collection 1 Gameboard Edition and one PGD Booster. Pulled the Elemental Hero Chaos Neos in Ghost Rare, the Chaos Emperor Dragon in Secret Rare and a Lava Golem in Secret Rare.

Is it really worth going through all the trouble of weighing the packs (with the chance of the weighing not even being accurate) all to screw the buyer out of a foil or two and piss them off? Which could end up giving you a bad reputation...this whole scaling packs shit is so annoying. Especially packs like this. Like wow you went through all that just to screw me out of a $2 foil card, thanks lol. All I need to look at is the sellers feedback, if I see one complaint about scaled packs I’ll never buy from that seller. Great video regardless man.

However when i got my box and opened it there were no secrets. youre at least guaranteed one secret in a box these days, i called in and told them and they kind of just shrugged off my complaint. i was cheated out for the chance of getting another trickstar reincarnation

I thought I got scammed when I bought the first Dragons of Legend box as it came opened like it would in a shop, oh boy was I wrong got every expensive card in the set.
I'm assuming they missed the Mirror Force because it was in the middle of the pack and not the top.
I bought 2 boxes of Dark Saviors for 75 bucks from a site called TomTop, but immediately had an unsettling feel about the whole thing. Sure enough when I did some digging, the customer reviews for the site were incredibly negative, even complaints about fake cards. Luckily, after a couple of emails back and forth, I was able to cancel the order before I got it, which seems to be an exception to the norm for this site based on the reviews. I was lucky, but the moral of the story is to do your homework with sites you order from, because taking that extra couple minutes to think your decision through can save you tons of money
