    I have to say you missed a lot on GTO+
    - node locking can be very specific
    - a lot of different report display solution in various ways
    - you can create script with the board you want
    - solve from the turn or the river
    - and the absolute banger: you can play versus the solution and versus your node locking too.

      @@bears-dont-cry-ds4zq is there option to script flops in GTO+?

      @@feedthemtopigs You can run any set of flops in a database and or solve all files>flops/trees that you exported to a folder (in case you don't have enough RAM) and then import those into a database.

      @@smoothlie865No, you have to set up indivisual bet sizing for every street(donk, g100 SRP(wide range) scenario.

    That is a great comparison. I wanted to code my own solver and was searching for a cheap way to compare my results to other solvers to make sure I don't screw up the math. GTO+ seems the obvious choice for that

    My Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz has 2 cores and 16 GB Ram on my laptop. So if I am going to use a solver I wnat to build a desktop computer that only runs the solver. No internet, no bloatware, cheap video card, nothing else. Do you know how many cores and threads it would take to get PIO solver from the 364 seconds down to the 3 or 4 seconds of GTO Wizard? For instance the Intel® Core™ i9-14900KS Desktop Processor has 24 cores and can be aforded For thousands of dollars the 4th Generation AMD EPYC™ processor family has I think up to 128 cores, but not afordable. Can you hazard a guess at what would be needed for 3 to 4 second performance in a desk top machine for PIO solver?

    • @2CardConfidence
      @2CardConfidence  4 місяці тому +1

      I'm not an expert on the hardware, so i can only share a couple of things:
      I'm not sure if it's possible to get it down to 3-4s as I'm almost certain piosolver is programmed to not be able to use more than 16 cores of any computer.
      I now have an i7 with 24 cores and the sim from the video is probably taking 30-60s (estimating as I'm not on it rn).
      2 things I would do in your shoes:
      - ask the piosolver guys. They have a discord and are very responsive to questions
      - look up jesolver. It's supposed to be an additional software that can help increase performance of running pio sims tremendously. I haven't used it, but it might help accomplish what you're looking for

    My favourite example for using solvers without reflection is that as an UTG raiser, you should fold QQ 15% of the time against a single LJ raise.

    • @dietasse24
      @dietasse24 11 місяців тому

      I think folding JJ32 % of the time and TT 68% of the time to a single UT2 raise in the LJ is more extreme
