Please enjoy this feature-length crowd-sourced remake of the notorious horror sci-fi masterpiece PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE by Ed Wood. Our dumbest project ever!
The team at the Nickel Independent Film Festival cut the movie into chunks and let people remake them however they wanted. More than 100 people took part to make this scene-by-scene remake in just over a month and it was screened on the closing night of the Nickel in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador in June of 2024.

I was a little skeptical when two or more submissions of the same scene were merged together, but they were ultimately better overall. The scene with the alien 'horse' exiting at 52:05 was peak comedy.

Thank you! It was a trick to juggle in the edit but being able to flip through and show the various interpretations made it so fun, and the repetition just highlights the goofiness of it all.
