It's frustrating to chase down both light and medium classes. That frustration changed to fun when I started using the goo gun. Now, the enemies are the ones who're frustrated.
Goo gun is great against teammates
Specially if they cheat 😂
My restrain is inspiring. It’d be funny as hell to goo my teammates but I know they’d get pissed and leave. People leave if we lose the first cashout but we end up winning. Lot of sore losers, goo would make them mald

I think this build creates most interesting skill expression out of heavy's primaries. It's way more satisfying to win an engagement by closing the gap with goo and alternating goo -> flame than just landing headshots like any other game.
Also with the damage buff a few patches ago this build has been hilarious for the psychic damage you can inflict on light players foolish enough to forego the taser
1:10 in here, u can just use goo gun to stop Steal, shoot it to enemy, they will get stuck stun and cancel Steal
Yeah ive been learning u can see in the footage i did stop a steal using this method
Oh you absolutely need to learn Riot Shield support, it's hard but works well in a team who fights together. It's my main build. It requires a bit of restraint and very good positioning to get right, so expect a slower TTK but it works very well especially at high ranks where people expect to win with hitscan weapons alone.
Healing Beam, Riot Shield, Frag Grenade, Defibs, Goo Grenade is my loadout.
You can sprint and jump around and your shield will always be on your left side.
You can diagonally sprint at an enemy and you can block everything (takes a bit of practice to learn where the actual shield hitbox is, because the first person position of the shield is further left than it actually is while diagonally sprinting.)
When fighting, try to be patient and wait out shots, for example attack between the 4 bursts of the SA1216, or wait out the full FCAR clip before swinging. You can also combine an attack with quick melee, though against lights you should attack twice with no quick melee (84 x 2 = 168 damage).
Try to fight only one person at a time, but if you pick up multiple people, circle around them anticlockwise until you can block both of them.
Goo grenade is essential for this to block off angles so you only need to worry about 1 at a time. Goo walls also force enemies to engage you at close quarters if they want to push you.
But this build is a support build above all else, the riot shield and goo enable you to run in and defib teammates. Whenever the enemy is too far for you to get value, you can focus on pocketing teammates with heal beam and throwing frags.
If you get stun gunned you can still block with your shield.
The only time you ever need to hold right click to brace you shield is if someone is about to RPG you, you need to brace to block the splash damage, it won't work if you block it with your shield on your left.
I actually almost beat zombs using riot shield for my like 2nd game on it ever haha its def good. Ill give it a try at some point

I always run from the flame.....Alot of people dont know this but you can sprint backwards.

Yep! Flamethrower is my favorite weapon rn for the heavy!
I play similarly but instead with the sledgehammer. You can very easily kill heavy, mediums with a little more effort and then lights depending on which specialization they have. It's especially fun since you can play through destruction more. Though, if you're hoping to get a lot of kills with it, you'll probably be dissapointed. The sledgehammer gets the right kills, not the most kills.
I use the same loadout, and using the goo gum to permanently stun opponents running away just so you can slowly approach the toast them
Very cool build. I never did that on purpose because I thought it was a glitch since there was message from the devs saying that stucking players on goo was bugged and that they were gonna fix it. I guess not then. But the very few times I stuff players with goo were hella funny lol

I’ve been playing this exact build recently and it’s actually very fun and in some cases even op i ones had a 32 kill game in quick cash
I’m honestly glad this isn’t a common strat I see cuz the counter is basically just another person doing the same thing lol. Otherwise ur just gonna end up stuck and walled off all the time

Flamethrower is another way to have loads of fun as a heavy. I admittedly suck with the goo gun combo so I just combine it with the pyro and explosive mines.
I will say, somehow putting explosive mines and using flamethrower on it causes the mine to be less destructive for buildings.. somehow. Effective for enemies though 😅
For the future, could you record in 60 fps?
30 in a video of a high speed, chaotic shooter? Not ideal, my eyes are twitchin.
