I love how he pauses midway down the ramp to check out the photographers! He's so cute & so smart. It reminds me of how he was calmly checking out the crowds on the way to the starting gate at Belmont.
He's very sensitive, as most of them are, but there seems to be a unique awareness about him, as though he is really taking in information and checking it out.
LOL, it does seem as though he is posing, and he is certainly aware of being observed. Whether or not photographers or groups of strangers are present, it is not unusual for horses coming off transport (more commonly trailers or vans) to pause to look around and check out their surroundings. Some horses to seem to have more 'presence' than others, though, and Justify is one of those. Not to mention being incredibly handsome, eh?
The look and strut of a true champion. And the love and care of those all who have taken care of him and continue to do so. P.S. Isn't it amazing how a horse gets under your skin and you fall in love. Michele in TX.
I just love to look at this horse. Such a beautiful chestnut. And loved how he looked over the rails on his way down from the plane to the van. Such a cute personality
Cute? Justify strikes me as an intelligent horse, majestic, beautiful, an inspiring blend of power and grace... As prey animals, all horses look around at unfamiliar surroundings. His pony (the American Quarter Horse that accompanies him, as all horses not thoroughbreds are known as ponies in the racing world, regardless of their height/size) has 'been there, done that' so he is a bit less inquisitive and tends to calmly go through the routine, which lets Justify know there is no danger, and nothing to get upset about.
ya makes sense but if thats how they do it then i don't understand why the pony went through 2nd. shouldn't that one go through 1st so the other horse can watch and see it's ok? just learning; forgive me. :)
Oh, my gosh! Justify stops and poses just like his 4X great grandfather, Secretariat! He takes everything in such a smart, handsome boy! Magnificent specimen of Equine beauty!
very interesting to see how they did all that, with the plane and the ramp and the horse van. love to see Justify! how he stopped to look around - twice! love how the guy leading him down the ramp LET him stop and look around! good to see how Justify handled it all, so calm and interested, and good to find out (i didn't know) that he has a companion horse to travel with. whoever was filming sure had some shakey hands, though, and must have forgot to pay attention to where the camera was aiming - must have been watching for Justify to come out! lol
Did anyone notice the "water cannon salute" they did for Justify's plane just before it taxied over to the landing pad? They do that for VIP's. Justify is definitely a VIP! So cool, glad they did the water cannon salute for him!!
Not sure what prompted the concern regarding safety, but of course Justify has many admirers who all wish him well. Yet there really is no such thing as absolute safety.
To all aviation guys out there. As awesome as this is, i always wondered, what would happen in the event of midair pressurization emergency? do they have special horse oxygen masks?
I never thought about this part of top level horse racing. They have to be able to tolerate all this noise and fuss around them. More for him than usual but no horse has a quiet airplane ride.
Oh shut up, you haven’t the slightest clue about horses so don’t bother commenting on one , you sound so stupid. A crowded stadium (think Elmont NY in June) all cheering at the same time is louder than a jet . Horses are like us, they get trained to tolerate noice, it doesn’t bother them one bit, they are so used to it. And as for your un- educated brain, here’s a little education for you,…. most thoroughbreds are about 3-4 years old when they retire from racing , most go on to retire to the beautiful breeding farms. They are pampered, giving the best feed and turned out every day in lovely lush green pastures. So why don’t you shut your yap and quit complaining about what’s natural for a horse.

Never let Loser Soros near this fine horse. Justify is a winner! We loyal Americans do not want Soros to have any part of our American horse racing. Bob needs to know this. So far that Nazi does not own in any part as of yet. Keep it that way. Thanks!
It's a shame, for sure, that Justify's achievements are not being fully appreciated by some because his Triple Crown came only 3 years after American Pharoah. Yet it was only the 2nd Triple Crown in the past 40 years. Parade or no parade, Justify is an exceptional horse.
Cora Clements usually horses do when doing air travel to keep them calm. But Obviously, there was no need for it.great attitude.Baffert said he is a very smart horse.
Love the water canons, they do this to let you know someone very very important just touched down. And it’s……Justify❤🐎👑👑👑🎺🏆

No, I think he stopped and said "Wait a minute, that doesn't look like the Holiday Inn Express courtesy van"

They say secretariat posed for the cameras too. So full of himself but he proved it well.

I bet there aren’t any misbehaving passengers on that plane
he is all business where's the starting gate ?
NO chance all that noise, ramp and commotion could cause any anxiety...glad to see they treat him as nature intended.

Not impressed, where's the parade... please delete... No justice for Justify
I believe the parade will be Saturday.
Tom Brady really, thats what i said, a piss poor reception.

Truthbetold let's talk about justify's next start...
I was surprised he did not have a companion horse.
Cora Clements. He did the second horse starts coming good into frame around 14:42.
Yeah, he had Sunny, his companion. Sweet Sunny!
Cora Clements usually horses do when doing air travel to keep them calm. But Obviously, there was no need for it.great attitude.Baffert said he is a very smart horse.
Thanks, I went back and looked again, what a pretty horse
Y'all know where famous and showhorses stay at night while traveling ?
Ramuda Inn

just who is this Horse's sire anyway?! honestly the only other horse that won the triple crown before Justify is American Pharaoh
American Pharo was the 12th Triple Crown winner. Justify was the 13th Triple Crown winner.
His Sire was Scat Daddy and he passed away back in December of 2015
1990's called. They want their camera back.
Sorry, not big enough to be a DC 10
