- This wonderful old melody has been around since 1860 and was made famous in 1928 by the Carter Family from Virginia. Since then there have been many versions by different groups and soloists. I will attempt to show several different methods on how to play this wonderful song. One in the key of C Major, one in the key of G Major and also one in the key of D major. There are many styles and techniques I will also try to touch on a few of them. Hope you pick up something from this demonstration.
