If humans still had tails, they'd be confused about putting on their pants or trousers, they should put the tail out, also kids would sometimes pull each other by the tail and people while sleeping would lie over their tails painfully

#dearblocko do humans have weaker or stronger immune systems then we did 100 thousand years ago.
If I had to guess I'd say probably weaker. Back then we didn't really have medicine and health standards so society was pretty dirty which allowed sickness to spread easily, causing repeated exposure to disease which probably helped strengthen the immune system and kill off the people with weak immune genes and helped those with better genes against pathogens mate and spread their genes.
Do you think in years to come our thumbs will be longer due to all the texting we do now?

I have a theory that apes lost their tails because they were counterproductive in fighting. A tailless ape could grab a tailed ape’s tail and use its long lever against the tailed ape. Given that apes have a much better grip than other animals of the same or more strength, perhaps that’s why we lost them

There must be evolutionary pressure, because if there's not, we don't get rid of traits.
I figure that standing upright is incompatible with tail presence. Perhaps the tail pushes the body dangerously forward and overbalances the body. Especially since a tail is often held in a high position when the animal is happy.
And it really would wreak havoc with the clothing industry. 😉
