@@nottroy4500 As I recall, he wrote it not only about a person that is no longer in his life, but also from a place of admittedly immature bitterness that he has both outgrown and likely disdains. He probably doesn't enjoy dredging the person he used to be a decade ago up any or every time he performs. And the accompanying feeling that people seem to care an inordinate amount for a song you absolutely loathe probably doesn't help his perception of it, either

@@softmodality He should get over himself. People love it because we can relate to it. And even if he doesnt identify with the feelings he wrote the song with anymore, it still fits right in with the story of Act 2.
