I believe it is a choice. Of course this choice is easier made in one country than the other. And every choice comes with consequences. If living slowly is one's top priority, it might mean that one has to move to a different country, move further away from family, live in a smaller house, never drive that dream car etc. . I like to believe everything is possible if you really r e a l l y want it. However it might not be possible without sacrifices.
