24:00 I have to call this out. American corpos shifted jobs to China not to make China rich, but make those corpos rich. And they succeeded. Don't make this sound like the US is the benevolent one here.

So how exactly you tell those corpos to stop outsourcing their job to china and start to hire american instead?, rising their tax?, fine them?, or forcefully take their company and nationalize it?. After all these rich corpos can always gtfo from us whenever they see no point of stay here taking their money and job potential to other nation that more friendly and will take them with open hand.
If you think people exodus is bad enought just wait until you get corporate exodus.

In light of the words of former Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Nazak Nikakhtar, that all mainland Chinese companies may have secret links with the Chinese military, because such links are not documented, the facts discussed in the USA Today opinion “Could an accident have caused COVID-19? Why the Wuhan lab-leak theory shouldn't be dismissed,” and former, CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield’s opinion that it did originate in a Wuhan lab according to Forbes Magazine, I urge that it is time to severely sanction the Chinese Communist Party in a more than just symbolic, ineffectual way. Just sanctioning officials will never change the course of the CCP toward WW III.
Their outrageous attempts to sanction EU officials and boycott responsible companies that seek to avoid purchasing the products of the CCP’s enslaved peoples, like the Uighurs, should serve as the final straw. Their many attempts to destroy evidence, remove Wuhan databases, (only partially successful) orders for the destruction of virus data, and effective silencing of whistleblowers show such a guilty mind that most juries would find them guilty of at least negligent manslaughter because by not closing international borders after knowledge of the infectiousness and deadliness of this virus (which they probably leaked), they proximately caused the deaths of millions.
Read about Canadian scientists kicked out of Canada’s laboratory handling the deadliest of germs for secretly sending viruses to Wuhan in CBC Canada’s “Chinese researcher escorted from infectious disease lab amid RCMP investigation.” What bioweapon will be “leaked” next, if the CCP decided to invade Taiwan or South Korea or Japan or later, the Philippines, for example?
The blood of hundreds of thousands of dead, innocent Americans and foreign citizens calls out for justice. If any in government ignore that righteous call, eventually, history will justly condemn them. Most congresspersons will pass laws that are couched as "to meet the CCP threat."
Please write your congresspersons and President Biden to order US companies to change all of their suppliers to suppliers not connected in any way with mainland China and all investors to withdraw their investments out of communist China; both within a year, with tax benefits to those which relocate them to the US. I think that the US Congress would pass laws to provide for such benefits. Those tax benefits could also be paid for by raising tariffs on high technology imports from China even more.
The CCP’s oppressed, mainland China, with its rapidly-arming PLA, is an existential threat to democracy and all Americans. Wise leaders will realize that proposals being to make America strong again to meet the threat of the Chinese Communist Party MUST be passed. If Republicans filibuster such laws, they will be guilty of treason by weakening the USA in the face of a rising, threatening enemy, instead of passing laws, which would prepare the USA to meet this oncoming, CCP threat.
Naturally, they have to establish some licensing and exception procedure, to be sure that they do not just drive dozens of US or EU companies out of business by forcing them to cease business with mainland China too quickly while they cannot yet actually relocate to alternate suppliers. However, if they do this, the benefits of the latest and future US stimulus payments may flow to the USA, the EU, allied, and truly non-aligned countries, instead of to fuel the growth of communist China and its threatening PLA.
(Do not discriminate against Asians, because most are just the victims or will soon be the victims of the CCP. Even mainland Chinese are merely suffering from Stockholm syndrome, because the CCP carefully censors the truth from them.)

@@Seri-tt3tf I think you approached the problem with a wrong angle just like many others. It's not about bringing the manufacturing jobs back to the US (Good luck hiring enough assembly line workers & engineers), it's about how to properly tax the winners and compensate the losers.
People act like China was the sole winner of globalization. That's not true at all. Most of the wealth generated in the previous two decades or so were actually about evenly distributed between US and China.
In China's case the middle class grew just as much as the upper class and extreme poverty was eliminated. In the US the exact opposite happened, the wealthiest 1% reaped most of the rewards and the lower class got screwed.
//So how exactly you tell those corpos to stop outsourcing their job to china and start to hire american instead?, rising their tax?, fine them?, or forcefully take their company and nationalize it?
The companies that outsourced don't even need to be punished. If it's more efficient to produce products overseas, let them, at the end of the day consumers win. But they should be taxed properly instead of dodging it with tax heavens or stock buybacks.

@@kin9225 My dad is from one of those countries that got bombed so here's what I have to say about that: not every bombing was necessarily right, at least when it came to civilian casualties, but they had valid reasons. For example, I am half Serbian and said country's capital was bombed by the US and NATO to end the the ethnic cleansing taking place in Kosovo. Some innocent people died and I definitely do not like how that happened, but this bombing was the main reason why thousands, if not millions of people are still alive today. What you are suggesting is that the US and other nations should stand by in the face of such violence and if you ask me, I would say you are horribly wrong. If you want to see what happens when nations like the US decide not to get involved in these instances, just look at the Rwandan Genocide where UN peacekeepers were ordered not to use force, allowing rampaging mobs to slaughter innocent people. This shows that even bombings like the one mentioned before are necessary at times and save lives instead of ending them.
Now, back the topic of China which you claim to be peaceful. While they haven't necessarily fired a shot across their border (apart from shooting fishermen in the South China Sea but your stance implies you may even believe in their claims there), but what they have done is the following: engage in border clashes with India over part of Kashmir (a province that they don't even have a claim to besides it being next to them), take over and subjugate the people of Tibet, attempt to take over Vietnam (this was a war that took place just after the civil war in Vietnam ended and ended in failure), send millions of Uyghers to re-education camps (and likely far worse, but the CCP refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing), take away the democracy and rights of Hong Kong, engage in extreme surveillance of their own people, and steal technology from Western countries and companies. Even if only one of those things was right, they're all extremely hard, if not impossible to justify and show how authoritarian and aggressive the CCP is.

Up until now the USA has lost the trade and tech war, it has had a very limited success with the massive billion+ $ anti-China propaganda, at least in 50 or so countries. Given that there are 193 countries in the world the USA has not been able to sway public opinion in over 143 of them. China has better management and far more talent and capital, it has been the world's largest economy since 2014, China has the largest and fastest growing middle class. China spends modestly on military while the Americans waste enormous sums on military and forever wars which they generally lose. Biden like Trump has surrounded himself with a 4th rate team and that does not bode well for the average Amercan that has suffered the folly of incompetent political elites for at least 4 decades. Protectionism will only serve to accelerate the unnecessary decline of the USA and any of it's poor allies that wish to follow it to a dismal future. Far better to cut the military budget by at least 65%, re-fund research and universities, stop the kleptocracy from hollowing out their middle class, put in health care for all, close the slave labor prison system and open their economy to China to create jobs. The list goes on with UBI and a minimum wage of at least $25/hour nationally ..... . The China/US relationship has been defined in military terms with nuances along the way. From a bottom-line perspective, the US is the hegemon in the world. From a US perspective, we are supreme among nations and the world revolves around our needs and aspirations! US allies see themselves as wise brokers who take US initiatives and form short-term policies that encourage the US to fund their needs while not hurting European interests. China would like The US to stay out of its way as China continues to grow and provide a better future for its citizenry. China has become the world's largest economy. China has developed the largest middle class in the world. China has eliminated extreme poverty for its population.
One would think that the US would appreciate the progress made by China. The problem is that we now understand that we are losing our edge as the world's hegemon. Our billionaires steal resources from many countries around the world. We have assured the theft by our armed forces overtly or covertly through our CIA! As we become a more entrenched democratic plutocracy(America is controlled by billionaires), there will be an alternative world power that will create alternatives to the state-sponsored terrorism and sanctions that assure the theft of natural resources by the US and its allies.
Issues of human rights. The Chinese have never lived a better life than now!! The Chinese attempt to integrate the various 57 different ethnicities who live in the periphery of HAN Chinese life, is designed to eliminate inequality. The best way to interpret their efforts is The Johnson, WAR AGAINST POVERTY OF THE 60S. To interpret The Chinese efforts to lift their citizens out of poverty as a violation of human rights is at the very least MEAN-SPIRITED. AT WORSE THE ALLEGATIONS ARE FALSE. But it does help create a narrative that some Americans can eat up. Asian -Americans have been victimized by these irresponsible lies!
But there are no easy solutions. Billionaires want their cake. If they voluntarily paid their fair share in taxes and stayed out of governance altogether, the solution could not go further. But I am afraid that the world will undergo a grueling process of planetization, as The US and its allies learn to work with China, Russia, Turkey, and the other emerging nations.

The interviewer asks good questions. But the panel talks as if China is stupid. Remember what happens to Trump's trade war? The US failed tremendously. The American empire needs to accept its loss. The future is CHina.

The world does not need another war. Better to engage in dialogue and resolute. Remember Taiwan. Which is Formosa. Is originally Chinese territory historically. There’s partially a voice in Taiwan. They prefer unification with the motherland. Similarly. Hong Kong was truly leased to U. K. It has reverted to China. Upon EXPIRY of the Lease. The Issues must be resolved by the Chinese people themselves. No external interference.

China civil war is not finished yet. Only cease fire now. That’s why the name of China military is still PLA. This problem will be finished soon. Not too long time again
