Great video mate, this was a fantastic gala. Seeing 1450 back in service was great even though she was only there to provide heating for the coaches. I can see myself onboard the train on your shot of 50035 at Bridge 12, she was absolutely hellfire
Brilliant video James... I'd planned to go to Kidderminster for the diesel gala, but sod's law, I've ended up with flu!!! Couldn't even get out of bed, let alone make my way up to Kiddy...... Hope you had a wonderful day James and thank you so much for posting a brilliant video.
No I haven’t seen the 58 since the Gala in October but they need to double head it with other locos because it’s air braked so it needs a loco that’s duel brakes so the coaches can be Braked.
Good film record but services were not adequate for the amount of passengers with a poor service to the Northern end of the line during daylight hours. A brilliant historic railway.
