Back then in 2008 she belted a LOT because she sang really high and thickly, and she had a vocal range 2 octaves higher than she does now. Amazing voice and tone, this was an amazing performance, with a lot of talent and genuine feelings. Her voice has one weakness though. I mean, sometimes you can hear her struggling when doing a certain pitch, but she goes over and under easily without problems. She tries real hard to make it ok, but it's impossible when it's right at the peak of lows, and under the lowest highs she is capable of.. it's simply the tipping point of her voice, and these songs are not very well suited for her voice. She has to put a tremendous amount of effort to sing those notes. None the less, even with that, she is amazing live, and there's something more than just the voice. She has some magic going on :) She is amazingly talented.
