Hey Midnight! Nice, im debating on whether I should do a lift, tires are rubbing pretty good after the spacers. Will more than likely do a CMC and hope it takers care of everything.
I want to purchase 1” spacers for my 2020 TRD PRO. I plan on buying 285 75R16 tires. Would you be able to lead me to which specific extension lug nuts to buy ?!
Make sure to buy hub centric spacers. Anyway, I checked forums and couldn't find any discussions on using extended studs with 1" spacers unfortunately. There's a chance that the spacers will already come with extended lugs so check the vendor first. On this note, I also sent a query to Bora and KSP for their input. Will share once I hear back.
@@tomalgier9930 KSP Motor replied and advised that extension lugs are not required and provided a link to their product if you're interested (www.kspmotor.com/products/toyota-wheel-spacers-009bk )
Yes I did and it’s not hard to remove. I haven’t replaced my rotors yet on the truck but I recently replaced my rotors on my Acura TLX which has a 1” spacers. No issues removing the spacers with loctite on the lugs using my impact driver which produces up to 1,825 inch-lb of torque.
I did a thorough inspection when I installed my winter tires. I've put on about 19k kms on it since the install and all looks in good order. No cracks, no warping, no shearing off the studs. Just make sure you install properly - centered and torqued correctly. I have the same brand on my other cars (Acura TLX and Honda Civic) and I'm a happy customer so far!
Brother you installed a 1.25mm wheel spacer right? But u also bought a 1.5mm extended lug nuts correct? I did exactly and bought this but the lugnuts seem not flashed on my wheel spacer am i missing something? Or your actual spacer is 1.5mm not 1.25mm? Please let me know Kabayan Salamat
Pare ko, you mean 1.25 inches not mm right? Anyway, yes I have the 1.25" spacers and the corresponding extension lugs is part #B07DLX519N (product link is in the description). I hope this helps.
It's just a standard 3-ton flat floor jack from Costco. I've had it for 11 years now and it still works great but I ill be replacing it with a 3-ton rapid lift soon.
Nice video. Are your wheels already pushed out more than stock before the spacers? Adding 285-75-16 to my stock 2020 TRD Tacoma Pro. Was going to add a 1.25 spacer for stance.
Hey Doug, thanks for tuning in... without spacers, it was sticking out about 0.85" with the 0-offset wheels. I wasn't satisfied with that stance so I added the 1.25" spacers. Of course this came with a consequence (tire rubbing) so I had to do CMC.
Just put that same size tire on my 2020 pro. Had to put spacers on to get the new tires to clear the SPC ucas, even with a 3" lift on the front. The pro has a slightly different set of geometry measurements than lower trim models, so you may have to breakout the tape measure and make adjustments a couple times.
Toyota actually has a lift kit so check with your local dealer. Otherwise, there are many 3rd-party kits out there. Just to get rid of tire rubbing, I installed a Tuff Country leveling kit (1.5/1.5) last October (see installation videos here (front): ua-cam.com/video/kzCyauO8Sas/v-deo.html and here (back): ua-cam.com/video/vFboOV2r2ik/v-deo.html ). Thanks Tristan!
Nice! with a 3" lift, I definitely doubt that you will have any rubbing on the UCA's but if you haven't done a CMC, you might get some against the mud guards and wheel well covers which you can address easily. I have another video on that so check it out. Thanks for tuning in Hector... let me know how it goes!
Here's the link for the product (Amazon Canada): www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07DLX519N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm sure you can find the Amazon US equivalent if you are in the US. Thanks for tuning in Randy!
Yeah I had to compromise as 1" and below are not hub centric (at least I couldn't find one at the time of my install) so I ended up with the 1.25". Thanks for tuning in Tim!
@@JuanManuel-fm9jt nice! Since this install, I’ve done other mods including a levelling kit so no more rubbing. But good to know 1” is now available, I just might switch to it. Thanks for sharing.
Nice install, the truck is looking mean! I did a 2in front rear and had to cut my fender liner and fender (viper cut) for the 33's

@@modXELA that spacer comes with 20 open ended nuts & hardware. Is that all that’s needed for a full install ?
DID YOU USE THE NUTS THAT CAME WITH IT OR HAVE TO BUY DIFFERENT ONE?
Hey JuanManuel, I bought the extended lugs. The other ones only give you about 3 turns so I wouldn't risk it.

hindi ba kelangan ng mas mahabang wheel studs nyan kuya? nilagay ko yung sa akin kaso mukang maiiksi kaya tinangal ko na lang muna
Hey John, kelangan mo yung extension lugs, short yung stock. You will get at least 3 or 4 more turns with the extended one, mas safe.
How those spacers holding on brother i was thinking about doing the same thing to my tacoma

Yes these are 1.25". I had the 1.5" initially but it was too much offset for my liking so I stepped down a bit.
Okay I will do the 1.25 as well. It seems that it what most people are running if they want a little bit of a nice stance but not over the top

did it rub before you put the spacers on?
