It would mean a lot if you’d go give it a listen! Heres a little more about my inspiration for this piece:
Mountain is a very special Single that was not originally intended to be so. Originally, it was supposed to be one of seven songs that I will release on an ep later this year. While working to breathe life into that body of work, Mountain ended up breathing life back into me from a day that changed my life in 2009.
As I was re-living that day I was filled with immense Joy and excitement thinking of my friend who conquered a literal Mountain. I couldn't help but draw a parallel to all the metaphorical Mountains that I've faced and am facing, it gave me great hope to think of his summit moment and all he fought through to get there. It's only when we stare these Mountains of ours in the face and decide to conquer them that victory is a possibility.
My hope is that Mountain will be whatever it needs to be for you. There is such beauty in how music can take you on journeys far and long while never leaving your chair.
