For all of my younger generation Stay here who may not be as familiar with Radiohead and their music, I wanted to offer some relevant background on the importance of Seungmin picking High and Dry to sing. Back in the day, a lot of people thought this song was a breakup song. It's not. Thom, the original singer, has stated previously that this song is about the struggles of becoming famous. He uses the metaphor of a motorcycle performer (Evil Knievel, another famous figure from back in the day) and the dangers that await their stunts. In a way, fame is just as dangerous. It's about not letting fame destroy the things you hold most precious and the person you are inside. That feels like something extremely relevant and personal to Seungmin, and I think that comes across in his beautiful singing here. He talks about it briefly in his intro to the song, about not becoming too reliant on the love of his fans, and the loneliness of coming home after a show. Artists can easily become addicted to the rush of performing in front of thousands of people. I love how self aware all of Stray Kids are. As an older Stay, I never would have imagined he'd cover Radiohead. That album, that song, is so much a part of who I am. His voice holds the same emotions of the original and his voice is so clear and beautiful that I keep replaying it.

After so many years in the K-POP industry, I didn't think anyone else would be able to impress me with their vocals until I heard Seungmin's voice. It's not just a fame or "I like singing" thing for him, it is his passion. It seems like Skz realize that music is more than just a hobby for many listeners. Music therapy is a real thing that is even utilized in hospitals, etc, and it is a source of peace and comfort for many. This man seems to take this seriously as a responsibility and a gift to show he truly cares for his fans.
Can we appreciate how well spoken he is? Stray Kids make stay happy, and our top priority is that Stray Kids make themselves happy as-well. So I’m so happy he’s finding that happiness within himself❤️

Seungmin’s singing has a way of burrowing itself under my skin, no matter what kind of a day I’m having. I always feel the emotions of the song so deeply when listening to him.
The control in the high notes, the perfect amount of vibrato and the high note that he let loose on. All perfection. He is an A+ singer in my book.
This honestly made me see him in a new light. Like I don’t really have a bias because I love them all for their own quirks and personalities but this sort of reopened my eyes to how good and genuine of a singer and artist seungmin is. After so many years in the K-POP industry, I didn't think anyone else would be able to impress me with their vocals until I heard Seungmin's voice. He puts so many feelings and emotions into every note that one has only to hear his voice
