Just came across this video and it's the one I needed to see as I'm looking for ways to mount on my Tacoma when I go through some trails in Moab, UT. Hopefully, I can find one on short notice since I'm leaving in two days. Lol. Great video though!
Awesome! I think this is the best way to do it. Check Amazon, sometimes they offer quick shipping. Also might want to get an external mic if you want audio. Normally all I get from the X3 is a lot of wind noise. Let me know how it goes! Thanks for watching!

Thanks!! And No problem! I can definitely recommend this camera! If you do purchase, I’d recommend getting their new wind screens to help with the audio. I just bought them myself but haven’t tried them out yet. Let me know how it goes for you! And I’d like to see what you do with it with your truck!
