This was a great band in the 80s with endless talent and always brought great bands with them like hurricane loudness TNT I love them all great with wonderful harmonies
There is a reason why he doesn't speak. He and the rest of the band don't like each other very much. Tim has had major issues with his life dating all the way back to the late 80's (drugs, infidelity, etc). Dude is kind of a bad seed. They now have Perry Richardson, formerly of Firehouse, who is a really good dude. Can't wait for the new album.
I so totally love how Stryper did honestly as acoustic. that song honestly as an acoustic turned out fantastically amazingly and awesomeness. Yes I remember Stryper doing that song as an acoustic. Because I went to see them years ago when Crocodile Rock Cafe was still open up in Allentown Pennsylvania. However I am surprised with Stryper just thinking about it they have done maybe two or three live CDs give or take. anyway thing that I'm surprised about Stryper is that they never had released a live acoustic CD yet. I'm being serious with all the CDs I have of stryper's and their life stuff CDs. They truly do not have a live acoustic CD or Alive acoustic DVD out yet. Or I'm even surprised at Michael sweet that he doesn't have any acoustic CDs or even a live acoustic CD. No big deal it's all good though I'm just saying. The New Year's right around the corner who knows maybe they might do one for 2018 sometime. It would be cool and different to have a Stryper acoustic CD doesn't matter if it's live or not. Just saying I'm throwing it out there giving some ideas. ((((((( 777 )))))))
You guys are gonna be near me and I am gonna try my hardest to find someone to drive me to the gig. I really want to see if you can sign my guitar. that would make my life. I grew up with you guys, I "borrowed" my older brothers Stryper tapes cuz they looked cool and I listened to those tapes holding the headphones so tight to my head, so loud, the sound surrounding me, in my head, pretending i was on stage with you. getting to see you in person will be a dream come true!
Hm! I'd actually love hearing an acoustic double-album (have to be a double, you've got so many good songs - hard to eliminate too many...) by Stryper one of these days. I've even got the perfect title for you - totally free of charge - "...nor by power"
Great to see the original lineup (at least it looks like it) If I was there I would have been in front rocking hard!!!!! what is up with this sleeping crowd!!
As you can imagine im not a christian. I saw this guys at the Santa Monica Civic Center around 1986 and all i can tell you is that ive been a fan ever since. They are a very sincere and talented group of musicians before anything else. Then I saw them again at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa mesa opening for Dio, what else can I say
Still together from the first and forever.... you guys are awesome
LOVE LOVE LOVE this take on "Honestly" you guys should record it this way, it's rad!
