Everyone loves a Good Burnout. Unfortunately, they don't always go according to plan with Tyre Fires, Rods Out or the dreaded Wall Hit.
Here's the latest compilation of some of the best action I've filmed over the past 18 months from events around Australia.

Sad about the XR GT. I grew up around hot cars and bikes plus owned a couple straight from the showroom floor and have to admit that the destruction of such beautiful vehicles is a bit depressing.

this might seem like a dumb question but im genuinly curious as to what is catching fire in the back....is something rupturing the fuel tanks?
Its often wheel speed
The tires are spinnning so fast the rubber is lighting from the friction

I have questions!🙂... sorry if these are dumb, but I was wondering...
1. Why do the burnout tyres/wheels/axles seem so narrow and skinny?
2. Sometimes when static and with tyres smoking, smoke shoots out at 90° at really high speed... is that the exhaust making it shoot out like that?

Skinny tyres are cheap and smoke good the exhaust thing I always believed that to be the case
*edit axles seem so narrow cause they usually have fat tyres on them

As a performance enthusiast, maybe you should try it, and then you'll understand. Most aren't trying to prove anything. It's just a just great fun, especially when you can take friends or family in the car.
