So giving a little bit of context, this happened here in Brazil some years ago, these weapons and ammo were confiscated in the state of Rio de Janeiro, during a operation against drug dealers and to clarify it's surprisingly common to see these monstrosities being seized after police operations.

Now in this case someone says make it and the gun maker goes no... But then gets paid enough to make this entirely decorative boat anchor. Because even if it is a bolt action it's only got a 15 to 18 inch barrel, still negating over half of the power of the 50 caliber round.

On another note: numerous Mexican physicists in the 40's designed the blue prints for the first 3 sizes of bombs during the Manhattan project, one was tested in new Mexicos desert. And the other two created Anime and Hentai. Mexicans were not credited for the ingenuity because you know, Ammerkuh! But a German American scientist was the face of the project because you know, America vs Germany, we had to rub it in their face.
Something like this is no surprise, even tech savvy members from these cartel groups are known to hack government systems and find info on Government agents like CIA or FBI deployed in Mexico and kidnap them once they locate the agents, you just won't see it on your everyday news because of the shame it is to National pride

Personally, I think it's a bolt action door buster. Specifically, an armoured bank truck door buster. That's why it has the railing on top. One hand on the trigger, one on the rail. You cycle this monster, aim at angle against the lock or the door hinges from three or four meters and let fly. Nevermind the shrapnel and concussion.
Many a Brazilian band has especialized in bank truck busting, many a time working in neighbouring countries. There was one hit they did in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, a few years ago. Fifty guys. It turned into a battle. Michael Mann's "Heat"? Rookie numbers in every sense.

    Yo B,
I really enjoy your videos, especially when you go into the technical aspects of firearms in detail. You also appear to have a pretty nice going on your back wall. I also think I just realized that you design and fabricate items that you are interested in, which I like to do as well. I’m by no means a gunsmith but more like a tinker that likes to figure out how damn near everything works and functions. I have also designed, fabricated and tweaked some designs to my liking that operate beautifully. I see that you put together a pretty nice 50cal on a pod which looks pretty sweet. I’m currently working on converting a rifle caliber pistol into a bullpup rifle and a grenade/flare launcher for pyrotechnics. Both are coming along nicely and look like they have come out of a factory even though they are 1 of a kind mock ups.
Bottom line is that I’m self taught and have learned through reading, trial, error and just plain old challenging myself to make something that I want to happen, then follow through.
Do you have any advice for me as far as taking what I like to do to the next level or in a certain direction. I’m wondering if I should find others to collaborate with, or possibly working with someone (a gunsmith or an armorer) in an apprentice capacity so that I’m not learning bad habits that might inhibit me in the future, while picking up the solid or best way of doing things. Sorry for the long, long rant but I needed to put it out there. Thanks, Jason

Just remember during the 1990s Warhammer 40k was not seen as 'nerdy' at all, it was a common tabletop game loads of kids learned to play. It cost little more than a regular monopoly, cluedo, or game of life box set (probably 1.5 times the cost of Monopoly, as opposed to today when the newest 'Horus Heresy' game costs 8 times the typical cost of a monopoly set), and was perfectly playable and balanced out of the box - one player got twenty marines including two with missile launchers, the other got twenty orks, forty gretchin, and a cardboard dreadnought.
There was also 'Space Crusade' (which included 16 space marines with many interchangable weapons including bolters) that was even cheaper than 40k, even more popular than 40k amongst kids, playable by even younger kids, and (completely unlike Warhammer and 40k) had a completely faithful computer conversion made meaning even more people playing it. Space Crusade also was commonly sold in sweet shops, garages, toy stores, bike shops, and places like that, unlike Warhammer games which were only really sold in specialist games shops and GW stores themselves.
That is why so many people in their 30s/40s know what a bolter is. Space marines (and their bolters) were just a normal childhood character in the regular games people played back then, the 'nerd' culture and the need to remortgage your house to buy a competitive army did not exist back then.

Would definitely watch a whole playlist of technical breakdowns like this. Guns are awesome, hearing the technical stuff behind how they work from someone who knows what they're talking about because it's their job to know is even more awesome.
