Is there anything special about your inputs when you circle strafe Sisyphus with slide spamming? It looks like very standard movement but it feels slow when i do it.
This is the most impressive gameplay I've seen because it relies on being skilled at coordinating attacks rather than memorizing some "absurd damage" pattern.
I just beat it myself on brutal difficulty (63 restarts), but I still didn't understand his second phase. Does he start creating explosions near you at random moments and gets faster?
My first impressions of brutal difficulty.Keep in mind My views might be a bit scewed rite now as i was tired and was fumbling around with the now 8 billion weapon options(I had to disable the chainsaw because it was distracting me too much during the Cerberus fight)But this is just my first impression after p ranking the prelude and limbo-Honestly its not fun.Enemies are too fast like little cockroaches skittering around under your feet and mach 5(especially the street cleaners)and im not sure what it is but i feel like im healing less than usualy for some reason which if that is the case is really dumb and should probably be changed.Im mostly a fan of the new attacks each enemy has cerberus is strang as his attacks are great and enhance most encounters but for the double cerb fight in the prelude it just turns into a nightmare as they are constantly rushing into you and slamming the ground giving you zero time to breath or think. The arena is way too cramped for their new attacks but maybe its just because i was fumbling around with the new weapons.I cant see myself playing brutal…at all really.The only reason id play it is to satify my masochistic brains need to p rank everything at the hardest difficulty for bragging rights. But brutal isnt even the hardest difficulty so thats out of the picture and enemies are soo stupidly agressive i have no time to play around or really think about what im doing.Im not complaining that its too hard I just dont think its fun.Increasing enemy speed especially to the degree of the sweepers just feels cheep and artificial like it exists to just jump in your face and try to freak you out.as it stands I cant see myself trying out any new content on brutal its just not fun for me and honestly feels more like a chore than something i want to do.

I've never played this game before, but I could've sworn in other Ultrakill videos I've watched in the past there are higher difficulties than brutal, I think it was either Violence or Ultra-Violence, can someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I only have the demo for reference, and P-2 would probably kick my ass to hell and back like a chainsaw paddleball for 20 years straight if I tried it at my current skill level. But compared to footage I've seen on Violence, Brutal doesn't look too different on P-2 beyond the tiny Maurices. How much harder than Violence would you say Brutal was for P-2?
Brutal makes a lot of things different from violent, it changes or adds a lot of enemy abilities I also started with the demo btw And p-2 kicked my butt

Bruh, the Stalker room on P-2 is absolutely brutal on Brutal. Those four buffed sentries and the buffed hideous mass keep absolutely eviscerating me

you can activate ultrakill must die via console and it already has some changes (ex.flesh prison summons are all mini maurices)
With the new difficulty maybe try the boss rush again?
