Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala is one among the IIITs that have been established as "Institutions of National Importance" by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam - a picturous location, spread over in 53 acres of land - allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God's Own Country.

Sabhi apne review me cutoff and placement ki hi baat karte hai actually which facilities get in hostel rooms ye koi nahi banata agar ek student aise video banaye to its realy helpful

Hi i'm from kerala .I'm repeating a year for jee. i actually have interest in studying in iiit . and cse. but actually i studied biomath in 12th. so will it be hard for me since i don't know anything about cording or anything.
You don't need coding and stuff to enter in college, but yes to get out of it.

@@batuklal Contract is released for PWD people but it's taking time because of the cutting of trees most probably work is starting very soon

@@batuklal The construction of college is done by CPWD department and for initiation of the work contract is handed over to them. Seems like some indoor courts and all are to be made.

Nagpur is better because tbh kottayam is in remote location.
People from nagpur have joined here(who had option of nagpur too) analyse yourself and join whatever you want. I also got nagpur and joined here.🙂

See and compare everything according to your priorities, check if you're branch specific or college specific or state specific. Then see which college gives you the best in all of your conditions. That is what I can guide you. I don't know iiit una very closely.I'm from Muzaffarnagar, UP, most close to iiit UNA, but checking all my priorities i chose IIIT Kottayam. So make your choice, best of luck 👍

DON"T GO THERE ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ , , I'm from IIIT Kottayam , , its the worst college , you cannot expect much there , too limited opportunities , internships are very poor , ,
attendence 80% sucks , ,its much like a jail , you go and stuck there ,
please don't go there ,
and the main thing is that you will not get hostel in 1st year ,for 2 semesters , and you cannot access sports and gym , ,
hostels are not well maintained , and poor , infact very poor internet most of the time
i am regretting my decision , ,you should better try for other IIIT's . they are much better
i would rate IIITK as a tier 3 college , ,its still developing , at a very slow phase
