I saw a documentary on Little Walter that was fascinating because before Cadillac Records I never even heard of him . Little Walters story could be a movie by itself ; very hard and tragic life he died young and his story needs to ge told .
This movie gives me the impression that Little Walter was the kind of guy you fall for even though you know that it's a bad idea and know or learn down the track that one way or the other it's going to end badly.
He should have won many awards, he played the hell out of his role. I watch Cadillac Records with he & Beyonce, Etta James, Leonard Chess, & all the other actors. Love this movie.
The problem with Lil Walter was drinking, he was hot-tempered, impulsive & had a gambling problem that got him killed eventually!! Continue to RIHP Lil. Walter!! 🙏 👼
My father use to tell me stories on how he use to play with Howling wolf and muddy, and Tyrone Davis when him & his brothers first came to Chicago in the late 50s and 60s. This movie just let me see some of what they went through back then. Before this movie came out he used to tell us how they were invited overseas to play, but he couldn’t go because my mother was pregnant with my older brother. However my fathers younger brother want in his place. These are some underrated actors in this movie, because they brought the early frontier of Chicago blues out for the younger generations to see. Growing up my father used to take us around to meet different people in blues, from playing on maxwell street, the old fish market on kedzie on the west side to playing different blues bars around Chicago. I didn’t understand then, but I understand it now what he was trying to do for us.👍🏿 One Chicago’s best blues guitarist. 🎸✌🏿
Damn back then the singers would walk up and pop you like it’s nothing and walk off…they were more gangsta than the gangstas 😂😂😂😂….they took their name and singing real serious back then

Also sometimes I share this, the Bible says that GOD loves us so much that he sent his son JESUS CHRIST to this earth and HE lived a perfect sinless life. And JESUS went to a cross and gave HIS life for us.And rose again in 3 days and who ever will receive JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND ASK HIM TO COME INTO THEIR HEART AND FORGIVE THEIR SINS,HE WILL TAKE YOU TO HEAVEN
I heard King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard play this song at the Red Rocks in CO. I was on 2 tabs of acid and some shrooms. I finally remembered the tune last minute

Muddy instigated Walter in that scene. Then he realized Walter was a quick tempered creole from the other side of the Mississippi Delta.
Yez sir, Muddy stirred the pot.
He also the one that got him to start drinking, even when he told Muddy that drinking would mess him up smfh
