If you're referring to him asking about the three guys entering the portal, it wasn't a dumb question. It was good journalism. He didn't have a source that had told him they were in the portal, so he was asking for confirmation - rather than just stealing the info from another site.

If they visit the school and their first impression means alot.you can yell come plY for us till the cows come home. If that isn't satisfactory there goes your window of opportunity.Chosing the team means choosing a school also. And you can dare say that's the first real life choice that some of these young men have made. You didn't have the chance chose your high school.
Probably the committee deemed him not worthy becaue he's thinking of himself instead of the team that made him. IMO. Loyalty goes a long way and even goes all the way to being named to this and that.
There’s a lot of politics for these teams. If you match up what Burks did against the toughest schedule and the best DB’s from the SEC, he should have been AA. He will have the last laugh because barring any injuries, he will be very good in the pros.
