- Hey ya'll! I'm back with a review of a new product line! Recently, LUSH dropped an entire line dedicated to the curly, coils hair folk. These products are all vegan, and handmade, crafted with the LOC method in mind. This was my first Lush experience. I've always avoided even walking into this store because I knew I'd form a habit that I would want to maintain. So here we are, let me know what you guys think!

I'm Faren. Born on September 21st, so that makes me a Vibra. Yes. A Vibra. My hair type is 4b/4c and my fro's name is Fred. I'm 98% sure that I have medium porosity hair. Fred loves heat, steamers and protein. I bleached my hair in November of 2018 and we are almost back to black.

I just got the super milk and curl power yesterday. All I did was spray my hair with the super milk, added olive oil and topped with curl powder. My hair looked amazing. My sister on a zoom call saw my hair and was like wow you look great. And I was like I did nothing. I just sprayed my hair and rubbed this in. It made my hair super curly. And I washed my hair yesterday.
It’s expensive but I think it is worth it.

So you didn't need a sealant?
I used Renee’s Shea Soufflé as my sealant since it melts down into an oil.

@@HeyKnottyGirl I actually just put in Marley twist so I won’t be cowashing for a lil bit 😅 but the Soufflé is EVERYTHING for my scalp rn. I apply it every night and it always takes me away to a land of moisture, beaches, and comfort. A definite rebuy!
I tried the cowash from the old batch and loved it but didn't pick it up this time. I love the glory conditioner 😍😍. I may try the soufflé oil. I wished they had a gel in the line

I can’t believe it has a lot of moisture that says a lot! Great definition! So it’s a soft hold. Girl I’m not mad at it! I’d rather moisture over hold if I had to be honest, nothing like some moisturized hair, chile! Lol I love 🍋 haha! So I’m good with that! 💥✨🖤great review. I wanna try it now! Sans the liquid leave in lol.

I like Glory too. It makes my hair so soft and hydrated, but it made me break out on my back and arms :(
I'm also impressed with Renee's Shea Souffle. It makes my hair roots super soft and hydrated. I got the sample, and I am going to Lush to purchase it today.
I'm dying to try the avocado co-wash, but it is not available in my country, Qatar.

Out of their old products, I tried the r and b hair reviver. It was ok nothing to write home about. It had a really strong smell that was ok at first but would give me a headache after a while. Plus my mother said it stank and couldn’t stand the smell however I always got complimented on my scent by random stranger when I used it. Go figure. I also tried the avocado bar and didn’t care was for it as it did not absorb into my hair at all. You have lovely hair and it looks so healthy!
Mother's will always flat out tell you the truth about something lol. It's unfortunate that none of the Lush products worked for you though 😕 But thanks for the love!!! 💛

great results! tendril excused (you know they only sneak in the container when you're trying to show the product up close 😂🤣) i think i like these smaller containers too - definitely would help me get to an empties video quicker. tfs 😊

Oooh I am so curious to try these products! I grabbed just the souffle when I was in the shop the other day and am just looking up the whole method. DAMN that is pricey though with how much product you used... to spend nearly $60 (not including co-wash and conditioner) for just 5 or so uses is a tough sell... i will have to keep considering.
I get it! As an update, I still love that leave in, and I’m not a big fan of spray leave-ins. Let me know how you like the soufflé, it’s the product I didn’t end up using as often. And the curl cream is good, I really do like it, not sure if it’s worth the price though. I strongly suggest opting for the smaller sizes to test them out though
Lush had tiny containers is my only issue. My collar bone length 4b thick thick fro would run through that conditioner in one wash
😂😂😂😂 that is true. I feel like most of the products come in bigger sizes though
What brush did you use for detangling?
It’s the Denman D4 I believe. I picked it up at Sally’s
