Love this guy so much, everything he touches turns in gold… but.. this particular song is not what i am used to hear from him. It soundas too commercial, too Coldplay. And the more i hear it the more i get bored by it. I don’t like that screaming refrain. I just don’t. His other songs moved me.. this one totally not.
I agree with you, from what I remember, his voice was more particular and special and this song sounds very standard and commercial, also I'm not a huge fan of the music video.

The new songs he’s coming up with are truly amazing what makes them better is that he writes about his life and his journey through his life which makes them more hear felt
@@AnitaMaggi-dk9en well , when i look at his new song ‘Roots’. It is catchy but not much of a writing wonder, it is quite forgettable tbh. I like his ballads much more. This is too mainstream in my opinion.

I love his ballards as well but it’s nice to see artists that try to branch out of their comfort zone and try different things it’s what the difference between a singer and an artist
Kinda of the same way with actors if you do the same thing then people only see you as being able to do that kind of part
So I think it’s a great idea to try different styles of music
