figuring that out right now haha, just keep stopping to look at the insane carving!
For anyone wondering why their GoPro footage never looks this good, shoot at 24 fps, change your GoPro's colour profile to flat and edit in your chosen amount of saturation/contrast later, shoot at 4k (even if you are going to downgrade to 1080), make sure you have stabilisation on, or just buy a gimbal and make extra sure that your GoPro's lens is squeaky clean. Even the smallest amount of muck on the lens can destroy your shots.

@@afpski yeah just realised that, but for usual recording 24 fps is gonna give you the most 'cinematic' look because that's typically what cinema films are shot on.

@@Jack-mf5lw Come to Norway, I worked at Haukeliseter, some good valleys not far away if the snow is good :) More outback touring here though, less helicopters and lifts, of course if you have a contact base then you can do anything.
Vestlandet probably has the most awesome easter skiing in the world if the conditions are good, scenic/feeling wise at least.

All3X the problem of going with a mix of snowboarders and skiers is that there is always some separation between the two because they low-key think they are better than each other. I know from experience unfortunately.

God damn. These movements look so smooth. I was on a snowboard only once, and you know what? It was a miserable sight, this is clearly not mine.
Sometimes I dream of being somewhere there, in the mountains, alone. I don’t know exactly how much time I would have spent, but something tells me that I would not have left. It seems that in the mountains all problems disappear somewhere, because you find yourself in some other world. Where only snow reigns and the endless silence of peaks.

You need to add a disclaimer that you can only get the 4K with a camera kept in a warm pocket and a hand warmer strapped to it in cold weather.

They edit all of it in post that's why it looks so good, none of this is raw footage.

They use a a stabilizer, many fps and color grade. If you do all of that correct it should be looking close
