AMEN! Excellent Bible Study Minister Porter. So the statement "Rightly Dividing the word of truth" means correctly teaching the divine message of the word of GOD. The word of GOD is all truth and was written and inspired by GOD through His chosen prophets. So GOD uses people, whether teachers, pastors, or prophets, who GOD calls to preach the good news of the gospel, but in the correct way. There are so many false teachers preaching false doctrine and taking scriptures out of context totally deceiving these so-called Christians because neither of them read the Bible and what it actually says. From Genesis to Revelation, one must read and study the scriptures as they are. No one is allowed to take away or add to GOD's word according to Deuteronomy 4:2. The reason why these false prophets teach incorrectly and don't teach the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse is because GOD has not called them to prepare and there is no light in them! That is why we have to read and study the Bible for ourselves, only through GOD's Holy Spirit, can we obtain knowledge and wisdom to get a thorough understanding of GOD's divine message, not only for knowledge but to live by it as well. Very good bible study. My takeaway is the need for the spirit of Truth .. Discernment, wisdom, and understanding You emphasize the need to study and meditate instead of just reading through the scriptures. How detrimental it is to take a scripture out of context instead of following the subject, also not to just take any Joe Blows word about what the scriptures are saying, that we are to try those spirits and study those things ourselves.. And lastly to beware of false teachers and how those who are in positions of authority like pastors and teachers will be judged more harshly. Our God is all-powerful all knowing infinite almighty. We sometimes put him in a box looking at him through the lens of our fallen state what I mean by that is when we experience him in one way we tend to expect him to show up for us that same way. He is infinite and we are finite his ways are not our ways. Thank you and God bless you and your ministry
