hello is it worth buying a pod x3 pro today? I use amplitube but I am looking for something with a little more options and I would stay to play direct, I await response, greetings!
Depends on your needs. I already sold XT few years ago, but now I'm playing mostly my bass and I think POD XT would be great set of amps and effects for this.
Great demo! Can you switch between the four channel with just one AMT FS2 footswitch?
Yes. A single FS2 has clean and crunch on button 1 and lead 1 and lead 2 on button 2. Best setup is three of them though. One button for each channel and one for power amp A/B and one for FX loop on/off. I’ve had my Stonehead SH-50-4 for about 8 years now. It’s incredibly versatile in sounds. EQ and voicing options are great. Can really sound like a lot of amps without all the modeling BS. It has a great feel to playing too.

My question to you is does the amp look for a load when you turn it on (meaning does it need to be connected to a guitar cabinet through the 8 ohm output ) or else the amp can get damaged? Can't wait to get mine!
@@maripido I’ve never tried silent recording with it. Best bet is to send an email to AMT support through their website and ask about whether it needs a load or not. I would guess since it is solid state, that it does not need the load, but I honestly can’t be sure. I do know it’s still the best solid state amp I’ve run across. I own many solid state amps now. 3 Marshall Mosfet amps from the 80’s, Gallien Krueger 250rl, Pearce G2r (another really great and well renowned solid state amp), and thinking of getting one of the Orange Super Crush 100 heads and HiWatt Crunch 150 heads, but I still don’t think those will beat out the AMT Stonehead SH-50-4. Has lasted me a very long time now! Just get a good speaker cab to run it into. Speakers can make a huge difference in sound. Lately I’ve run it through a Marshall SV212 with Celestion V Types, and a custom 410 with G10L-35’s from the 80’s. Cab is pretty old but in super shape as it had been stored properly 20+ years and those speakers sound great with it. Most speakers that sound really good with Marshall amps will sound good with the Stonehead. Celestion Seventy-80’s I had in a 212 when I first bought it weren’t the best, but all my cabs now are pretty amazing with it. Enjoy, and good luck with finding out about the load answer!

AMT sell those foot switch. The seller gave me one when I bought the amp on eBay
I didn't have it but I believe you can connect one without a problem.
If you could't get great tones out of this, you need more practice. Tube amps are fragile and weigh so much more.
