This book undeniably makes perfect sense, as it is based on solid historical facts.
He's a portfolio manager. He has to share and use all the information in his hands to make money for his clients. Otherwise they will not be happy and will withdraw their money and Ray will earn less and less management or performance fees.
He hasn't had to necessarily make money for a couple of decades, basically in this century. He and his company have been coasting
It's all off the back of 2 reasons, 1 industrial might, which will lead to increasing GDP and higher educational standards as prosperity and education go hand in hand. In America, it is viewed as systemic racism if a minority fails math, which may have grounds in local culture or lack of resources (people can make claims and have facts verify these opinions). Regardless, America is not able to compete with China's long-term goals embedded in their culture. Yes, China welcomes racism and ethno-islamic slavery (slavery of the Islamics in China). Hegemonic empires are often more goal oriented and have the ability to think collectively for the national good rather than tribal goods that can benefit a group in a zerosum mentality.
The second reason is economic strangulation or immobility. The rich want to be rich and stay rich and would change shirts to do so. The draw to america was the vast plethora of freedoms which allowed for rapid growthchowever that is in the past and increased regulations strangle mobility. In China, you can do anything that benefits the overall cause of China, but there is one rule, never outshine the master.
To see Ray Dalio as a traitor is convenient for us.. anothet rich white guy who happens to be jewish and is incredibly in tune with the darkness behind the majority of billionaires. Never the less, this life is about survival. Morals are meaningless if there is no collective good that will push for said morality. If the morality is Chinese or American first politics, than the reversal of America is due and will be met with extreme social tensions.
In summary, the whole notion of ray dalio and his shift to china is because they're putting economy first above social individualism/tribalism. If or when there is prosperity, the growth of rights and education will surely spur from a golden age as a prosperous nation with no rights or goals will surely dissolve.

this is such an eye opening and interesting view. I am sure most of us who watched or read Dalio’s book would have fallen for it. So many people echoed him in so many different media channels. Everyone must share this to open the eyes of the rest.

Not saying I like him, but Ray Dalio, is someone people should mostly listen to or follow for economic advice. (Dont always go by his word as nobody has a 100% efficacy rate, but whatever). I watched an interview with him in 2019 talking about the looming recession coming in the near future (2020). He stated, there was a quote "bigger recession" coming than 2008. The interviewee called him crazy as economic modalities were trending upward. Boy was he accurately right. Possibly, he got that information as insider information from Wuhan. But, personally I am not entirely sure...
A recession is two consecutive quarters of gdp decline which has not happened yet. Sooooo...
