This is some unedited footage of one of my recent hikes in the MicroTech mountains. I like to just land somewhere random, and wander around aimlessly taking in the scenery and beauty of what the Star Citizen universe has to offer, This is a unique exploration experience only Star Citizen can provide.
This isn't scripted, just a raw video of one of my actual hikes that I recorded, so if you see my character doing weird animations or staying still, that is me taking some screenshots… lol
Even though I didn’t manage to reach my goal, I enjoyed the journey and had a relaxing time exploring this beautiful landscape. I hope to try this once more when I have spare time.

Enjoyed the scenery! When you laid down in the flowers it reminded me of spring here in Texas. Our state flower is the Bluebonnet and the counties or state put down seed along the highways. When in full bloom its nothing to see families pulled over laying in the flowers snapping pics.
Yea, it was a beautiful patch of land. Hopefully, we can collect plants and decorate our ships and bases in the future. 🙂
One thing I've always wanted because of Microtech...skis and snowboards.
They can add gameplay like the classic game "Steep". Give us more to do as well, would be fun. Some wing suits as well.

I took a Microtech hike the other month. Walked right out of New Babbage and head to the top of the mountain behind the space port. Great views. That's when I realized that Star Citizen needs skiing mechanics.
Right, also would love to see some hover boads, too..
@@HK94 That's a good idea. If CIG is smart they will put in a ton of "non-combat" activities to placate and attract all the non-PvP players. This game can be truly successful if there are a plethora of fun things to do that don't involve a gun. Luxury boating, skiing, snowboarding, parties(a la Gatsby), and a immersive in-game social media app that can make events and gatherings go viral.
Go to activity for getting away from most game bugs. This area looks sweet
Right, this is the thing that other games can't replicate. Kinda sad that many just fly over these areas and just go to misson markers to the next without even exploring what SC has to offer.

I did that a couple of weeks ago was enjoyable hike about 13 km micro tech is a pertty place

Right, no way I could have scaled that peak without a climbing gear or fly to the top in a ship. Hopefully, with CIG's new rope tech, they showed off during citcon, we might finally get that climbing rope they showed in carrak commercial.
Longest video yet. We'll have to go and make a day of it so you can reach that peak.
Yea, I rarely upload long format vids, i got burnt out on SC because of the day of Vara mask hunt, so this was a very relaxing experience. Thought I'd share it as is for others to see😅

I found if you are hiking in mountains go into 3 person you want take fall damage if you slip
