This car saved 4 people life ( me + my 3 friends)
In 2016 I owned ameo tdi highline diesel,but in 2017 unfortunately
I have a disasters accident( my car crash at speed of 100+ km/h)
Luckily not a single scratch,
Maintenance is bit high but worth spending some extra bucks.
If I met similar accident with any maruti car I am not able write this

भाई ने एक दम सही सही बताया। मेरे पास पोलो पेट्रोल है 2016 मॉडल कम्फर्ट लाइन यानी मिडिल वाला मॉडल। स्पेयर पार्ट्स और सर्विस का कॉस्ट ज्यादा है इस सेगमेंट की और गाड़ियों की तुलना में और resale वैल्यू इसका कम है। मगर बिल्ड क्वालिटी ,राइड और हैंडलिंग जबरदस्त है, सेगमेंट में तो कोई मैच ही नही, ऊपर की गाड़ियों से टक्कर ले सकती है। पिछली सीट में वाकई जगह कम है bcz इसका बोनेट बहुत बड़ा है जो क्रैश में आप तक इम्पैक्ट नही आने देता है। इसलिए थोड़ा लेग रूम काम बना है केबिन में। मेरे साथ भी 2 हादसे हुए है जिसमे इसका बम्पर पर हल्का मार्क आया मगर दूसरे की लग गयी। मेरे टाइम में इस प्राइस में ये सेफेस्ट कार थी, हैचबैक सेगमेंट में वो भी इसका बीच वाला वैरिएंट ऑलमोस्ट काम का सारा फीचर देता था। मैंने तो इसका सेफ्टी और राइड हैंडलिंग को देख कर ही लिया था। माइलेज भी इसका सही ही है, खास तौर पे ये देखे की बलेनो और i 20 से ये लगभग 200 kg भारी है ,फिर 14 15 kmpl सिटी में और हाईवे पर फुल लोड यानी 5 लोग और पैक्ड बूट के साथ ,AC के साथ भी 17 18 दे देती है। यानी जितना ये केवल ड्राइवर के साथ इसका वजन है, उतना बलेनो या i 20 में 4 लोग बैठे हो तो उतना भारी है, फिर भी इंजन रेस्पॉन्सिव है। उस हिसाब से माइलेज acceptable है।
दरवाजे तो बस लगता है कि लटक जाओ, जोर से पटक दो तो भी कुछ न हो।
इसको जो driver's car बोलते है, एकदम सही है। मैंने एक बार में 500 कम चलाया है और मजा आ गया। मन करता है और चलाओ। जो भाई ने नेगेटिव बताई , वो भी एकदम सही है, जैसे ग्राउंड clearance नार्मल है एक हैचबैक जैसा ।

My polo, literally fu** hyundia creata. Or hamari dhanno k kuch nhi hua, service cost itni jyda bhi nhi hai. Mahol bana rakha h. We use fully synthetic oil in cars. #vwowner

मेरा कार का 2 सर्विसिंग हुआ, लगभग 6700 कॉस्ट आया था। जिसमे से 2700 केवल इंजन आयल का था। ये महंगा है bcz ये फुल सिंथेटिक है और 15000 पे चेंज करने बोलता है। इसके ऊपर आप जो एक्स्ट्रा खर्च कीजिये वो अलग है। i 20 या बलेनो का पता नही कितना कॉस्ट आता है, i hope 5000 तो आता ही होगा

I have the same model same colour and same engine. I would say on an average I am paying around 6k for the servicing. I would like to add that the peace of mind this car gives you regarding the safety and the ride quality is unmatchable. I had couple of incidents with this car which proved it to me. Once a maruti dezire infront of me applied sudden breaks in heavy rain and I was able to apply sudden breaks making me able to have comfortable stop but another bolero behind me couldn't stop at all even when it had enough distance. It collided with the rear of the car giving it a slight unnoticeable dent, while the front bumper, headlights and wind shield of the bolero were gone. It surprised me how strong the build quality is. Another incident happened with a bus side scrapping at T junction on the rear end of the car. A small 3 inch scratch unnoticeable due to the brown colour on the car but the bus had at least 4 inch depth and a meter wide dent, which surprised me. I am glad if you have read so far. I wish you a safe and plesant drive and please wear seat belts at all times.

As an owner of vw vento and skoda rapid both petrol. I want to tell you that these companies provide you the best build quality in the segment. Their fit and finish of the products is also unmatched. The steering feedback is superb. The power output is also upto to the mark. The quality of vw speaks for itself as polo was the safest hatch of india. And the accident in which the polo gt fell from a flyover after doing speed of 100+, even then the driver came out of the car without any scratch. In india we prioritise cheap cars and quality over our lifes. Tata mahindra Vw Skoda are companies that we indians should start considering

He did not say anything about the sound system, we have blue colored Highline 1.2 Petrol Ameo (Delivery: 23rd Feb 2017, Tanya Cars, Jaipur) and first thing that I loved about this car was its sound system. Then come the build quality, oh boy its 100 kg more heavier than the Dezire. High speed stability is great too. Never been to back seat yet on a drive (lucky me). Car got hit by stray bulls twice in crowded market still not dent so far on bonnet.
Spent around 7300 on 1st service but took extended warranty coz of price of parts.
My best experience at service station is checking out the accidental cars, I noticed that every damaged car had airbag open and seats and steering intact. My priority was safety during the purchase and I am very proud of that, when my father set in the car for the first time, his smile was the most precious.
5:10 I don't think 9-10k is that much for a Volkswagen !
If you Calculate Thoroughly for 2 services you pay 20k that is for 30k Kms
And for A Maruti service period is 10k so that means you have to do 3 services , estimating the service cost per service to be 6-7k
Then it will be around 20-21k

Nothing can beat German Engineering and Quality. They put a lot of effort and money into R & D, so you can go tension free on Highways specially on Indian Highways. Maruti Suzuki is just for Orthodox Indian buyers who can neglect safety for money.

I bought vw ameo in November 2019 and it give milage of 17 normally in petrol and ny first service cost was 5000 only
I bought in October 2016 and milage is between 15 to 17 and first service cost was 7000/-
Got an ameo diesel in 2017 getting it serviced for 7500 @15000 kms is buch better than getting another car serviced at 7500 to 10000 kms for 4000

Skoda and vw cars have a common issue of steering rack breakage
I have Ameo 1200 CC Comfortline Blue car. I never felt hard steering. It may be so that at lower speeds it is free and at higher speeds it is a bit hard a good design aspect for better safety in mind. I drive 80-100 on highways and it is marvellous.

Much better than paying money for dents and all, service cost must be around 6-7.5k depending upon the dealership.
One small accident can make all the difference of budget in the car.
Ps- petrol prices Dekh ke nuksan zarur Lagta, but safety much more necessary. But a smaller car, but a safer one.
Aaj aap logo ne gadi drive karke nahi dekhi, esa laga ki ye vala vedio interval me hi the end ho gaya.

Hi, wants to share one thing to you guys about VW steering wheel as it's speed sensitive automatic steering wheels and not rack & pinion hence it's expensive.
And you cannot compare it's handling feedback and control at the speed of 120 to 140 Kmph.
I would also recommend you to make one expert review on polo 1.0
