Man I wish I had friends like these guys to where I can just show up at a ranch and no matter where I sit a monster buck is going to walk out in front of me lol. Wish it was like this in reality for most hunters.
I love Thanksgiving because my birthday is the 25th of November sometimes my birthday falls on Thanksgiving Day and I'm up in the trees or we would go rabbit hunting pheasant hunting then go home and eat dinner that was a great book and I love your show

having hunted all types of ranches, ranging from the King and Kennedy Ranches to 40 acres in Waller, Texas and pretty much everything in between. Shooting huge, well known, often seen on trail camera bucks on some huge ranches and particularly high-fenced ranches, lacks the same thrill, IMHO, as shooting a totally fair chase trophy on a 4,000 to 5000 ac low fence ranch in an area of heavy hunting pressure. There's a reason my most favorite shoulder mounts were from smaller, low-fenced ranches off of very competitive, high pressured areas of south texas, and one had never been seen on any hunters trail cam on our lease and the other I shot a year after he was seen once on a trail cam. The sense of accomplishment and achievement involved in getting such bucks seems much greater than those I shot on the Kennedy, KIng, Vogt ranches. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the experience of hunting those big, storied ranches, but most of my huntiing buddies all feel the same way.

I think willies deer had at-least 25” more the year beforehand. I understand they wanted his gene pool around for another year but come on, I live in STX and I know for a fact you don’t let a 8-10yr old walk after he’s already going downhill. Congrats nevertheless!

Love most of the videos, but shooting Texas deer that are fed year round like this isn't challenging at all. You can set your watch by them.

The definition of hunting is to attempt to harvest a game animal for meat or sport. That’s what’s they are doing.
