I have a built 2JZ from Brangers racing with rods and pistons in it as well as a 1mm larger valve head with BC 272 .400 cams with a port polish. Liberty LSC5100 trans, and I am saving for a Sikky quick change diff. Plan is for time attack and Trans Am capability

I owned a cym fd3s and loved every bit of it. It came as a rotary and people should keep a rotary motor in it. If you want power and torque, just get a 3 rotor or a 4 rotor. Keep that 2jz in the supra

How the fuck did he get an FD for $10k? I am 34 years old and have never seen one ever around that price. I recall a shell back in the early 2000's; was a shell (no engine or trans), red, 94' and asking price was $12k. When has the price of an FD ever been near $10k?
I even did some deep thinking. I recalled one on the old autotrader mags you would get for free from the grocery stores. Even then, finding an FD for under $15k was unheard of.
lol rollers to this day still pop up for 10-15k... 12 years ago you could get a lhd roller for 5k, running cars for 10. dunno where you have been "looking" but its been in the wrong places lol. You can get running driving projects right now for like 18k.
I purchased a 93 FD for 9500 in 2012, it was an auto and bought it from a lady in her 40s. Doubt there is many right now for cheap, whole used car market is insane right now.
I had a 2jz rx7 in 2002 and was super fast but ruin the feel of an RX7 in turns. Plus there was no swap for it then and everything was custom and solid mounted so it was just unbearable. I was fastest around on a straight freeway but besides that was shitty idea.
There’s a reason why no one wants to mess with the the rotary even you rotary fan girls know damn well it’s a headache to make big reliable power hell the engine that comes in the car sucks ass even being completely stock lol
rotaries are the least reliable and hardest motors to tune known to man. the 2jz is the opposite. there is a reason people 2jz swap rx7s and do not rotary swap supras......
