- In today's video I'm unboxing a graded card order I just received back from PSA. Only took 5 months! This was part of the Michael Jordan quarterly grading special they ran in Q220. $10 per card. A total of 47 MJ basketball and baseball cards combined. What grades did I get???

Safest player to collect in my opinion. A ton of his cards are still undervalued, especially PSA 10s when quality control was not the best in the 90s.

I use a screwdriver sometimes.
Try cracking them out of the cases(8s-9s)that you think should of been tens cause PSA is giving out tens like they should be.Ibelieve it's to keep pop Low and card prices high.
Im getting mine back soon, i sent in 38 Jordans. Not expecting too many 10s but Jordan is Jordan. Awesome video

I'd sell the error slabs as a set. Wow. Never seen a mistake from anyone like that...
That was my thought as well. I have definitely seen PSA make similar mistakes in the past but it is rare

Just got my Jordan Quarterly Special back. 30 cards. Zero 10s. Half were 9, half were 8s.
They don’t grade Jordan fairly. Seems like they’re a lot more strict.
No 10's ouch! It does seem like they often grade based on who is on the card.
I sent in 80 MJ cards back in July for the special so I can’t wait to get them back, hopefully by December.

@@drew9141 I did. Went ok alot of 9s and 8s not as many 10s as I would of hoped but they were all cards from 90s. 9s of jordans still sell well I got like 6 or 7 10s which more then paid for entire submission so I was ok with how it went
I literally did the same thing about four months ago, got back 4 PSA 10, like 16 Nine's, 14 eight's, a couple of 7s and that's it... If anybody's interested, I have them available.

Unfortunately they are no longer running the special on Jordan cards, and the turnaround times are really high at the moment due to demand.
Right after the 92 Topps that got a 9 there was a hologram coming up right behind it and you didn't show it..... What was the grade on that
Good catch! It was a 1991 UD hologram Jordan AW1 graded PSA 7, and a second one got a PSA 5. Had some technical difficulties during recording so it was left out.
How much did they upcharge you due to market value at the time?
There was no upcharge. I've never had an upcharge based on the grading results

I have several cards of those, but I opened the packages in their respective years I am 41 and I found them all and most of them are 9 and 10 I am from Puerto Rico. I am going to send them to what do you think!y si me puedes ayudar ,you can't help me?
There are a few options for grading companies. PSA is the most popular but they are currently backlogged and grading is taking about a year at this point. The other options I'd recommend are Beckett (BGS), SGC, or HGA. There are sports card businesses that can help facilitate the grading process for you if you don't want to deal directly with the grading companies.

I sent in 2 of these Jordan Years subs, July and August. Waiting for them.

All these cheesy numbered cards and autos these days wont be worth antthing in 10 yrs jordan always holds it's value

Graded cards definitely sell for a premium over ungraded cards. 📈 Most of these Jordan's sell for $1-$5 raw
@@kylescardboard9100 it shouldn't be that way bro..we all depending on PSA opinion and everyone is falling for the system..i always say this... will you get a girlfriend for what ur friend tell u or because u really like her?..thats how i see it ...if u got a clean card and i like it because is in good condition i take it even if i dont see a PSA number on it...but i get u i know what u saying..just dont think is fair with the price they got and other things
@@platano3000x Totally agree if it's a card for the personal collection then third party grading is not really important. But, for investing or reselling cards it's an important way to differentiate condition and ensure authenticity etc. Investors/collectors generally desire cards in the best condition possible, without grading companies it's difficult to know exactly what you're buying

@@kylescardboard9100 Nothing wrong with striking while the market is hot. I remember 20 years ago when the market was like this and any refractor, die-cut, numbered cars or auto sold for a ton. But not like this market. This is insane. People spending $30K-$50K for a PSA9 auto of Mahomes RC or some Luka card. Crazy spending right now.
