The final character is Dimash's son born during the war and saved by various people who see him as a symbol of unity between the peoples. He honored his dead father by trying to bring and unite all races, cultures and religions to a place where they can live together as brothers and in peace. The name "Piper" has two similar meanings: The first is a reference to the legend of the "Piper of Hamelin" who was tasked with hypnotizing the city's rats and drowning them in the sea. But the piper, without pay, hypnotized the entire population of the city and led them to death! It is therefore a seductive message that leads to death! The Other Meaning tells the true story of a World War II battle where crazy Canadian soldier Bill Millin, nicknamed "Mad Piper", played the bagpipes at the front, dressed in a "kilt", while his companions were killed. . ! The sound of the harmonica served to muffle the shots and motivate the comrades and became a symbol of the "madness of war". We are very grateful to God and destiny for the fact that such talented people as Dimash have come into our lives and are a great example of modesty, courtesy and respect, despite their great popularity! This is not even a clip, it is a whole film that was created throughout Dimash's creative activity, the meaning of which he wants to convey to each viewer and will be different for each one, but anyway, we all walk under the same sky. Well Bob, I guess you were so enthralled over Dimash's vocals that you missed the "Story" Re watch and pay attention to the gnomons, the triangles on the necklaces and other things. That girl that got killed was Dimash's daughter. The pregnant woman was Dimash's wife and mother of the girl that was killed. The "general" was the boy that saved Dimash from drowning in the beginning. The baby that is born in the end grows up to lead all those followers in the end, into the light of Life

Hi Bob! Thank you for your sincere reaction! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

Dimash took 3 years to compose the music for this song and the script for the video is also his. The video begins with Dimash's character being rescued by the other boy and together with the girl a love triangle is formed, since the The girl chooses Dimash, when they grow up Dimash is the soldier and the girl is the pregnant woman hugging their daughter. People of different ethnic groups and religions manage to rescue and hide the wife because she is going to give birth to a child who will unite everyone when he grows up, but the daughter is not rescued and when Dimash finds her dead he thinks that his wife too it is. That is why he is going to take revenge on the General who is the friend who rescued him. In the end, the wife gives birth but dies, and in the end the child appears as an adult, uniting everyone and guiding them towards a better world.

You are musician so you was naturally focusing on music. But this film has strong story and is full of symbolism and associations and Dimashe’s singing was “just” the soundtrack.
I’ve watched it a few more times and there was so much to unpack in this one. It took a lot of watching to get it all. So good.

"The characters are attached to symbols that are passed from generation to generation, through this symbol they are born, kill and die and are born again... always thinking that they will be different, but no".
Symbols transcend human understanding, so they are carried by the winds of endless ages so that humanity never realizes its courage and realizes that its life has meaning and follows the path of necessary and urgent evolution.
Global leaders, world owners use these symbols and the propaganda narrative to control people's minds, they will easily digest what is behind a symbol that perpetuates itself for generations. Some symbols serve to justify aggressions, invasions, wars, it is the way to unite them robotically and that they cannot think for themselves.
When "They realize" that someone has left the cave and can take crowds with them, they create "imperfections in matter" to prevent the children of light, the dimensional ones, from doing the awakening work that would generate the "Revolution".
"Piper" in the song, is a reference to the flutist of Hamelin, who with his flute attracts and hypnotizes mice to follow him and die, "Piper" is an analogy to his childhood friend who became the evil leader, who created a war destroying lives in search of a supposed "Union".
In the end, Dimash when falling into the water screams "we choose life" it is a desperate cry of "There is no life in war, war is death".
It is important and urgent that you get out of the cave, out of your private bubble and realize that you are being controlled by a strange and lying narrative and start to see and observe what is outside, get other information and think and make decisions for yourself. If you don't, you will be just another sheep that meekly walks to the slaughterhouse or follow them to die like a mouse.
Only a free and dimensional soul could open the veil that covers our eyes and courageously show and criticize on its platform this subjection to which humanity is trapped. History repeats itself as we can see in these symbols shown by Dimash in his epic and glorious film.

You really should pay as much attention to the video as you do the audio. In this particular release both are equally important to the telling of this story. In the same way you wouldn't randomly mute the sound to a song you were listening to on (for example) I-tunes. It is somewhat equivalent in this case when you randomly spend time looking away from the video.

When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story:
"Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much.
We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents.
And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation.
I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next.
But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true.
We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children,

Too bad you've missed the story, all the spiritual wisdom, the symbolism and the beautiful metaphors here, but it's never to late. Please watch and listen again with attention and you'll be even more amazed than you were already. This masterpiece and message is a gem that needs to be recognized and shared all over the world. It's Dimash's "piece de resistance" that he worked on for 3 years and he admitted he struggled with because the message is so close to his heart.

А в этом случае наоборот - увлекся вокалом и не понял многое из увиденного, потому что смотрел невнимательно. В частности, его удивило, что Димаш стреляет в генерала, как он его назвал. То есть не понял, почему стреляет.

This is my interpretation of this mini movie. Maybe not everyone will agree, but this is what I figured out. And many more, but it's too long for one comment. As usual, Dimash's work is full of symbolism.
Through the story of a personal drama, Dimash recreates the tragedy, the tears, the feelings and the present of all humanity. We are all children of one heaven, regardless of nationality, religion and skin color. We are all children of one creator and we all live under one sky. That is why the title of this masterpiece is THE STORY OF ONE SKY.
Two friends and a girl. Familiar, right? Yes, the boy who saved him on the beach became a dictator, and kills Dimash's daughter. He never wore this symbol around his neck. He never took it to heart. He held it in his hand until the very end. So he never felt it the way Dimash and the girl felt it. Holding it in his hand, he charges it with a different energy. That's why the symbol on his uniform is reversed. And at the end Dimash is reincarnated in his son's body. The baby was born when Dimash dies, right? This means that Dimash has reincarnated into another body. But when the war leader lies dead at the end, that's when the symbol reappears around the newborn's neck, upside down again. This is what led me to the idea that the body is Dimash, but the soul is of his childhood friend /the leader/. Reincarnation for payback. And so, again two boys are connected with the girl (mother). Again, the three are connected, but they are already in one whole - a newborn, carrying the "encoded" mistakes of his ancestors. This is a boy who carries, as he sings in "Stranger", "... faces from the past, whose memories still haunt me, the love and life that I lost, I still feel them in me." This is karma. Karma that brings him back to earth until the mistakes are corrected and the soul "passes the exam".

I believe and see in Dimash's video the message that as humans with free will, we choose good or evil all throughout our lives. The youth who later became the dictator and caused so much death and suffering, once helped sustain life by saving young Dimash when he was drowning. Yet as an adult, the dictator chooses hate and evil, causing the death of so many, including Dimash's daughter. Each of the 3 children had the same symbol but used it so differently. After his death, Dimash joins the souls of the departed who have ultimately given their lives for good, for peace. An alternate interpretation is that Dimash at the end walking toward the light is his son now grown up, following the path of peace. The Jewish and Christian Bible, and I assume the Muslim Koran also (though I am not learned in it) contains a passage in which God instructs mankind to choose to follow his laws and do good so that they will have happy, peaceful, long lives. “I call heaven and earth to witness you today: I have put before you life and death, blessing and curse - therefore choose life!”
(I am not preaching religion here, but most Biblical laws, regardless of which religion, are ethical ones that are designed to guide mankind in choosing good.) As you said, in the scenes where we see pilgrims of peace, or war refugees, or souls of the departed (however that is interpreted) shows us that all nationalities and religions are brothers, all of us children of one creator under one sky.

The film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. El personaje principal también habla de unidad, de paz, pero a través del lente de la bondad y el amor.
Mientras pelea, está confundido, está en estado de shock, pero tiene que salvar a su familia: su esposa embarazada (la niña de su infancia) y su hija. Una vez en casa, queda horrorizado por la imagen del muerto y se da cuenta de que su familia también está muerta. Después de sobrevivir a este drama, pasa al antagonista para buscar venganza.
Sin embargo, la esposa del protagonista sobrevive con la ayuda de personas que saben que ella es quién debe dar a luz a un niño especial que puede salvar el mundo. Estas son personas de diferentes nacionalidades y religiones que se han unido por la paz.
Una línea paralela de peregrinos son personas de diferentes religiones, recorriendo el duro camino hacia algún lugar de poder donde podrían unirse y descubrir el Ojo Celestial que iluminaría el mundo. Al unirse, crean una energía común en la que nace el hijo del protagonista, como esperanza para un mundo mejor. Su camino es un símbolo de la fe en general, porque siempre pasa por pruebas difíciles. At the end, I don't imagine only ONE person will lead humanity. I imagine it represents the generation that is here now. In the song. Dimash sings that leaders have lead us to the slaughter long enough. Staring down from the bluff, WE ARE HERE. This is the time. Now. Dimash's character at the very end representing this generation. That is how I personally interpret the symbolism. It makes the most sense to me. We are not waiting for one person to show up sometime in the future.
Now, many countries/people are standing up to aggressive warmongers. Many good people are refusing to go murder their neighbors.
Maybe it can't be a utopia yet, but good humans can still make a difference, especially if there are enough of them.

I'm not sure if you understood the story correctly and read the text carefully at the end🤔. Please see the description of the video, and watch the video again. Then you will understand something more. Often it's the other way around. Many are so engrossed in the story that they forget about Dimash's vocals😉.
The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.

As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.

Our Dimash is very vocal about the futility and human cost of war. He detests war and has stated that wars are always between two people not two nations.
He has stated that he is 'only a singer' so all he can do is 'use his voice'. This is Dimash's humility and him using his voice. Dimash composed the music and wrote the screen play.
This was a project 3 years in the making on and off in-between commitments in many countries and his homeland not to mention his concerts of which there has been four in just this year alone. Dimash premiered The Story of One Sky live at his concert in Almaty, Qazaqstan on the 23rd September and the video released on the 24th.
The emotion, heart and soul is real and I believe this was a way for him to vent his frustration at current world events. It’s mostly about life, death and rebirth.
Director Alina Veripya is second to none in her field and portrayed everything magnificently.I believe she also directed ‘Okay’ for Dimash which was a great video.

If you dident gett some what happend...here are some of how I see it..Dimash was the little boy that was saved and the girl become Dimash wife and there dother that was killed of soldiers from the man that was the boy that saved Dimash. That man was angry and desperat becouse he loved the girl/woman to and she shoose Diamssh! So he started the war in Dimash town do to that. The women giving birth with Dimash and her son died during the birth. There son grow up in the end to unite every human and every religion to a peacefull and loving life.

I also thought the kid who saved him made that iconic necklace that ends up being the icon for the army and leader that creates that war. I felt that leader actually was that kid who saved kid(Dimash)...that who then ended up killing that kid as the leader near the end to end the war. it is a full circle...and so much symbolism takes a few times watching it to catch all of it.
That general was his childhood friend who saved him from drowning.

You weren't really listening to the song he wrote and sang nor watching the film that DQ wrote the script for from begining to end that he wrote and those tears when his daughter was callously murdered by the troops of his old friend & he was unable to find his pregnant wife, whom he presumed dead.
My response will focus on a heartbroken, frustrated & downright angry young man's urgent message not the phenomenal vocals he ordinarily is lauded for as this is what Dimash has instructed us to do, as well as, to promote it by sharing it far & wide & no one will not be allowed to react and/or share this one! My understanding is that there will be no blocking by him or his team! If you are blocked please let me know. DQ wants it shared and a global dialogue to ensue on how to establish & keep a "World Without War!"
There's a lot to unpack & dependent upon a person's frame of reference, their interpretation of the video & DQ's message will undoubtedly be colored by their own preconceptions & life experiences, etc. My interpretation of his message this far is as follows:

I feel as if DQ is asking us "what's it going to take" for us to "WAKE UP?" Children are (and have long been) dying of famine NOW.
Further, DQ proclaims THIS is OUR LAST CHANCE, and that we must immediately act as there's "not a moment to lose" before either the Earth implodes or some crazed "Pied Piper" releases nuclear Armageddon upon the world!

You must watch this MV with an open mind & heart coming from a mindset of love & solidarity. I don't share the majority's view that Dimash survives nor is that his grownup baby born as he died at the end of the video. Yes I'm glad you reacted to this and I'm glad you were as blown away as most of us have been. However I could observe you missing parts of the story due to your continual mugging to the camera which we don't give two hoots about.
The three main characters, The military leader, The woman giving birth and Dimash were the three children on the beach.
It's a little girl in the beach became Dimash's wife, their daughter is the little girl who was killed and of course their son, born as his mother lost her life in childbirth.
And Dimash sacrificing himself after making the terrible decision to kill his childhood friend for the sake of others and for the greater good.
There has been a lot of discussion about the final scene. Whether it is dimash in death leading the representatives of the world's religions ethnicities creeds etc to peace and to the light or whether it is Dimash's son grown up and guiding people to a new peaceful end. So I will leave that interpretation up to you individually.

The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work.
The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.

My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece The Story Of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent
rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story Of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER.
The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace This video needs to be shown worldwide

the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one.
