And I would loveeee to do timelapses… the only reason I didn’t include any here is because I’d already started playing this world in 1.20.5 and the replay mod is still on 1.20.4. Perhaps I can figure out another way to do so!

I don't often check out new Minecraft UA-cam channels (since I follow too many), but the build in the thumbnail got me. I prefer to watch people who are putting their own thoughts, research, and personal aesthetic preferences into their builds. I saw a hint of that in the thumbnail. I'm very glad that I checked this out because it's clear that Oggie has put a lot of thought and care into this video. I wanted to comment because I want Oggie to know that this is an excellent first video. I hope they feel more confident making videos after this because they have nothing to apologize for here. It's good to be mindful of the small adjustments that can be made while recording and editing a video to improve its quality, but don't sweat the small stuff. The audience generally won't notice unless it's distractingly bad. Adding more polish and personality to videos gets easier with practice. I'm looking forward to watching the next episode! The thumbnail for that one is even more exciting. ❤
What I love about you is that when you build you don’t have a 3 block color palette you basically use whatever you want lol and that’s fun I get so scared building because everyone is always like choose which 3 blocks you want to build with and start building… my problem is.. I love the pink planks and deep slate lmfao 😅
the cottage looks so whimsical out in the meadow you haveeee to add a flower field to surround it!! would look so pretty having a thick of flowers stretching out across both sides of a path leading up to it

This makes me want to start a new world and try and incorporate some of these lovely building tips!! I loved the use of mud; I knew packed mud looked good but I never thought about just regular mud! And the deepslate looks sooo good with it too! I think my favorite part of this all was that your starter house is beautiful but achievable for the regular Minecraft player in a new world, without all the resources that are really hard to gather in bigger quantities early game. It really inspires me while also feeling like something I could accomplish without spending several hours in game making farms or whatnot. I look forward to seeing where you go with this world!!
I love the build! It's got depth, gradients and color, and shape and interest abound as well! I thought you had a fun beginning for us to watch. More feedback... your voice is fantastic! I didn't mind the mouse clicks that much, but you're probably right about trying to minimize / eliminate them if possible. If not possible, not a big deal. I thought your audio was really spot on except for like twice when there was a bit of an echo but you probably heard that , maybe you backed away from your mic or something. That wasn't a negative, just something I noticed. Overall, super enjoyable. I'm a builder, so I appreciate vids like this. Your voice creates a lovely, light and welcoming vibe for us. I love meadow biomes, the flowers and the flatness. Great choice. Also, I love your roof shape. I never thought to use trapdoors like that to extend the angle. Mud blocks and deepslate tiles are a great combination.

I would say youve been so lucky in this play through but it seems most Minecraft players I watch are as well. I suppose it’s a skill issue for me 😢. I have about a 7 year gap from playing Minecraft and have been on a journey relearning things and catching up for a few months now. Also when you said you forgot about Mangrove even though you love building with it cracked me up 😂❤

I use davinci resolve, which is an amazing free editing software. The effect is called “block glitch.” Hope this helps!
