  • PROGRAM USED: Toon Boom Harmony. The idea of this technique can be used in most programs though.
    Tweening bouncy snappy movements can be your best friend for giving things that extra bit of life. Especially for longer form projects that can't have wicked detailed movements

    It's not necessarily about how many drawings you have, but what you do with them. Great technique for limited animation!

    this is one of the 12 principles of animation, the first i think. Squash and stretch is a powerful tool.

    I just thought I would throw this tip in here because I don't see many people talking about it and it has helped me a lot.
    usually how I can tell an animation is working well, is when I can play it backwards and still have it be easy to follow. I see it as kind of the same as flipping a drawing to see its flaws. usually when you watch it backwards it makes the motion the opposite of what you have in your head so you don't have your mind filling in gaps that an error might have left open.
    don't know if I will help anyone with that but oh well.

    You can do this in Blender 2.8 too but you need to make sure its only a few strokes and they they translate keyframe to keyframe

      French Toaster He doesn't use animation software to do it though. He does it in a simpler manner

    One difficult thing to do is to figure out a design for your forever character making sure it doesn't look like a another UA-camrs character
