Hello! I recently got a 1998 furby and got it to work but then I tried to play hide n seek with it and it fell asleep and isn't waking up. I tried the tutorial and it's still not waking up. Should I reset it?
I bought one that has never been out of its box. I put batteries in it and have tried everything to wake it up, but nothing is working! How do I wake it up?
Hello there. There are videos on youtube that you can watch!!! If you haven't use it for a long time the motor gets stuck!! You have to skin it of and with the use of screwdriver open it an move the gears a little bit. I'm sure it will start moving and working again!!! ΑΠΆΝΤΗΣΗ

Maya Narayan Try sticking a screwdriver ( a flat one ) in the hole above its beak and wiggle it around. They're very old, so you might need to get the engine running again.
Foxy The fox This is only if it falls asleep. I got a 1998 Furby to work by sticking a flat screwdriver inside it from the top of its beak and wiggling it around WITHOUT REMOVING THE BEAK. It gets the engine going again in the Furby:

I saw a video where to wake up the old gears the guy put the batteries in and then smacked the bottom with the battery compartment a couple times.

Mine has to be woken up by pressing the reset button on the bottom. Always works.
