Dear sir how many time required to become a fourth engineer from GME COURSE training staring in sims ,and how many waiting period for 4th engineer after clear Coc exam in ESM
I selected in sims GME April batch
I hope please reply me sir
Bro it depends, you will have to complete 1 year of GME course followed by 6 months of onboard training.
For onboard training you will have to wait for an year and once that is done you will appear for class 4 exams, which usually takes around 5-6 months

Bhai it’s damn simple, if you apply in colleges which are going to give you sponsorship even before completion of the courses then you are safe and secure. For example colleges like, ANGLO, SIMS, TOLANI, GREAT EASTERN, you will be placed for sure. ANGLO AND SIMS Have their own shipping management companies so you don’t have to worry. However, there will be some waiting period.

Bhai IMU EK UNIVERSITY HAI. Bsc nautical science se zyada better option hoga DNS ka course from Anglo, sims or tolani. Placement mil jayega

Hi bro.. posting nahi hoti hai yaar .. ship ke route par depend karta hai .. Jahan jahaan ship jayega wahan wahaan hum logo ko jana hota hai ..
AAP contractual basis par jaoge .. for example 6-7 months .. jab tak ship par rahoge .. aur jahan jahan jaoge wahan jana padega

Anglo
Great eastern
Tolani

Bro If you are sponsered then I guess you just need to call them back for rejoining. And it totally depends on company to company.

Yes they will give you ships back to back.. I don't think it's an issue.. initially for first 2 ships you will have to wait.. but once you are fourth engg. You will get ships on time

Hey, if you are planning to join engine department then you don’t need to prepare for IMU exams. You can directly prepare for company based exams. Like there are few colleges which offer 100% placement. You can apply for colleges like SIMS, ANGLO EASTERN, GREAT EASTERN. Apply for these colleges and prepare on topics like refrigeration system, ICE engine, mathematics. And you are good to go
